Thanks

Hi all! Now that the mail man has delivered my goodies, I'm able to play in the CASology challenge! Which is NBUS honoring our favorite Darnell from djkardkreations!

I started with this weeks sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. Flower image is from Avery Elle and stamped in Pink lemonade from Fresh Ink. Flower center stamped in black versafine. I've played around with this set from AE, but don't think I've made anything using it yet.

Tag die is new from Memory Box. I used the middle sized tag that comes in the set to frame the flower. The thanks is a die from Simon Says Stamp that I cut out a few times in black and then layered them on top of each other for depth.

Ribbon colored with a Copic marker and then tied on using some black scrappers floss. Black gingham designer paper is from A*Muse.

I had to take this picture with my iPhone since my battery died in the little point and shoot. Not a bad photo overall.

Thanks for stopping in!

A circular tag! A large one! I've only seen those itty bitty ones; in fact, I have about 50 of them from some garage sale years ago. I'm not a big fan of them, but this one I LOVE. (Great job with the enabling!!) Your nice juicy pink flower looks right at home on it! Literally ~ it goes perfectly with your blog background! Love the b/w gingham paper behind and the word ~ just another fabulous card design, Laurie!! Thank you so much for playing in both the CASology challenge and NBUS Challenge #3!! Have a great weekend! Hugs, Darnell
