Hi everyone! Wow, what a week this has been! I can't wait for the weekend so I can get into the studio and create. The rainy weather should help there! I just got a few new stamps from Just For Fun and had fun playing with this one.
I stamped the image in Versafine ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next, I dug out my sponge daubers and created the sunset with pink and yellow chalk inks from Studio G and summer sky from Memento.
As you can see the stamped image is pretty big, so I cut it into thirds and then layered it with black before attaching it to a white card base.
I think I need to add a few small birds in the branches to give it a bit more interest. Thanks for stopping by and have a creative weekend!

Absolutely gorgeous, love how you did the background and how you cut the scene in three.
Absolutely GORGEOUS! Beautiful sunset!
I think you should leave it as it is!
The stamping is stunning, the sunset is blended so well. Thanks for joining us at CAS-COLOUR and Sketches
OMG - this is beautiful - I thought it was a pic you had taken and used, and your sunset is amazing - did you do it on matte or glossy cs??
I used regular matte cardstock from PTI.
Stunning card, I love the colors and image.
A stunning card - it's lovely to see you over on the CAS challenge blog - perhaps you wouldn't mind popping in a link to our challenge so that you can be considered for the top 3? Jacqueline xx
