Christmas blessings

Hello.  Here is my last reminder card for The Flower Challenge. Sniff!

After 9 years of The Flower Challenge the December challenge will be our last. We want to thank all our design team members, past and present, and especially all our participants over the years. Finally, we thank Aileen Ryan for coming up with the idea and running the challenge in conjunction with Viv Hodge for the first 7 years. We will post the winners as usual on the 4th of January 2026. The challenge blog will remain open for floral inspiration. We will be back with our reminder post on the 15th.

The stamp is from Penny Black and I used watercolor Tombow markers to color the outline and then spritzed with water.  The sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas cookies!

Hello and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try A Sketch on Tuesday.

The cookie dies are from Tim Holtz Sizzix line from a few years ago.  I used Gina K Designs cardstock to alternate with the white on the cookies.  The three small snowflakes are shaker bits from Trinity stamps that I glued on for added interest and cuteness.  The border dies are from Pink Fresh.

Hello and welcome back to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  This time we have a color palette prompt for your inspiration.

I just purchased this wonderful paper pack from Brass & Bliss and one of the papers worked well with the colors below.

I added a bit of snowflake glitter and mica from Ranger (TH) to the top and bottom snowflakes. The dies are from My Favorite Things and the middle snowflake die is from Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks - TSOT#684

Hello and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try a Sketch on Tuesdays.

The background stamp is from Andy Skinner at Creative Expressions.  I stamped it in Antique Linen oxide ink onto cream cardstock and cut out the panels.  The wreath die is from Tim Holtz, Sizzix line.  I used some leftover leaves that I had sitting in my stash and added them on.  The Thanks is a die from Spellbinders.

Mixed media tag - SSC374

Hi everyone! Welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Sunday Stamps. I am the hostess this go around and came up with this.

I created a mixed media tag using stamps from the following companies.  Texture stamps/Lou Collins, Trinity stamps, Penny Black, Repeat Impressions, and IO.   The dragonfly was created using shrink plastic, Stazon ink, and the dragonfly stamp from Repeat Impressions.  I also used a bit of scrappers floss to tie the ribbon onto the tag.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you join us.  Link is here

Skating snowman

Hello. Sharing this card for the winter challenge over at Just Us Girls and Simply Clean & Simple

The stamp is from Whipper Snapper Designs.  I colored him using Copic markers.  The snow is texture paste through a stencil with rock candy glitter dusted over it.

I decided not to put a sentiment on, as I picture him skating to silence in his own little world. ;-)

Thanks for stopping by.

Thank you - TFC#108

Hi and welcome back to a reminder about our current challenge over at The Flower Challenge. We are looking for you to add "thanks" to your creation.  Here is another card I created.

Thinking of you - TSOT#683

Hello. Welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.

I started by blending watercolors down the left side of my watercolor paper in fall colors.  Then I stamped the branch from Memory Box using ground espresso archival ink from both ends.  The sentiment is from Parklane.  It's hard to tell in the photo, but the card base is a dark brown that is cut to a mini slimline card.

Hi everyone. Sharing the following card for the new sketch challenge over at Sunday Stamps.

I kept mine very clean and simple this go around.  The flower die is from Simon Says Stamp and I colored it with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from The Ton.  I did use the same copic marker to color the satin ribbon that I used on top of the blue gingham designer paper.

I hope you join us!

Get well soon

Hello. I'm playing in this week's Freshly Made Sketches with the following card.

The wonky stitch die is from AALL & Create. I used micro-gluedots to adhere it to the cardstock.  The bandage dies are from My Favorite Things, as is the get-well sentiment.

I have to admit, I was looking for my bicycle dies to use on this sketch, but ran across the Band-Aids and I was off and running in another creative direction.

Thanks for stopping by!
