Get well soon

Hello. I'm playing in this week's Freshly Made Sketches with the following card.

The wonky stitch die is from AALL & Create. I used micro-gluedots to adhere it to the cardstock.  The bandage dies are from My Favorite Things, as is the get-well sentiment.

I have to admit, I was looking for my bicycle dies to use on this sketch, but ran across the Band-Aids and I was off and running in another creative direction.

Halloween greetings - TSOT#682

Hi, and welcome back to another challenge over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.  This week I went with a Halloween theme for the sketch.

The sentiment is from MFT stamps. I used the shattered background stamp from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous line with a light gray ink. Then I added the circles and huge googly eyes.  The spider is a brad that I have had in my Halloween stash forever, and the same goes for the ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by.

Joy - SSC372

Hello and welcome back to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  We have a color challenge this time around.  I decided to go mainly with the colors and create a Christmas card.

The big joy is a die from Penny Black.  I cut this three times and stacked it up for some dimension.  The berry branch is also a die from PB, and the rest are misc dies from different companies.

Just a note

Hi again.  I'm cleaning and organizing my craft room today, and that led to some creativity.  This one is inspired by the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.

The long notebook page was created using an old Papertrey, Ink die.  For the lines, I used an old background stamp from My Favorite Things.  The clipboard die is from Sizzix/Tim Holtz.

The notebook paper on it is from a patterned paper pad from PTI called pencil me in.    The "just a note" is a stamp from the Ink Blot Shop. I thought it was funny how it fit into the lines on the notebook paper.

Thanks

Hello. I'm playing in the Tic Tac Toe challenge today with this tag.  It covers the left and rows of the TTT grid.

I stamped the background leaf stamp and heat embossed it in white.  Then used watercolors to bring out some of the leaves.  The thanks sentiment is from Spellbinders.  I used a bit of black twine to wrap around the tag and to tie off the green ribbon at the top.

Thanks for stopping in.

Yappy Birthday

Hi. I'm playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today.  I love that it's a clean and simple sketch.

The dog stamp is an old one from Close to My Heart. I colored her with Copic markers and then fussy cut her out.  I did pop it up using foam squares for a bit of dimension.  The sentiment is from Mama Elephant.  I also used round and rectangle dot stitch dies from Jillian Vance Designs on this.

Thanks for stopping by.

Halloween Greetings

Hi all. Just wanted to share a Halloween card today.

I used Simon Says Stamp's stencil to create this fun little card. I smooched black pigment ink onto the stencil and ran it through my die-cutting machine to complete the background. Then used the rest of the stencil to color in the eyes.  The sentiment is from My Favorite Things, and the outline die is from Pink Fresh.

happy bee-day TSOT#681

HI, and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try a Sketch on Tuesdays.

The bee and sentiment are from Jillian Vance Designs.  I used Versafine ink to stamp the bee, and it came out really sharp. Love it!  I added a bit of sparkle onto the wings using a wink of stella pen. The hexagon dies are from Echo Park, and I used some designer paper from Moda Scrap to cut them out.  I did ink the edges on some of them so that they stood out.

Thanks for dropping by.

Thinking of you - SSC371

Hello, and welcome to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  We have a sketch challenge this go around, and here is what I did with it.

I do not remember who makes the dragonfly die. I created a background using mica powder and silver gilding flakes, and then used the die to cut them out.

The grid border die is a very old one that I believe comes from Memory Box.  I backed it with silver cardstock to match the gilding flakes in the dragonflies.  The sentiment is heat embossed using silver embossing powder.

Hope you join us for this sketch challenge.  Thanks for stopping by.

I actually did a gatefold card for this one. Gasp! Flower stamps, dies and stencils are from Pink Fresh Studio.  Simon Says Stamp inks used.  The just a note sentiment is from Jillian Vance Designs.  I did use up some hoarded dsp from Lil' Inkers on this too!

Moody blue snowflake - TSOT#680

Hi, and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.

I used the shattered background stamp from SA and Tim Holtz to create the background for this.  I stamped in versamark onto watercolor paper and heat embossed with white embossing powder first.  Then I used Paynes Grey acrylic ink from Daler Rowney to get the dark moody blues.  The large snowflake is an old die from My Favorite Things.  Added a few clay snowflake shaker elements and called it good.

Thanks for stopping by.

The snowflake is from my stash.

Wildflowers

Hello. I'm playing in The Paper Players sketch challenge today with this card.

The flower stamp is from Lesia Zgharda and colored with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is from Simple Stories.

I left this pretty clean and simple so that the gorgeous flower stood out!  Thanks for stopping by.

Happiest of birthdays - SSC370

Welcome back to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps. Today, we have a fun sketch for you.

The leaf dies are from Jillian Vance Designs.  I used book pages that I had dyed autumn colors using distress ink on the leaves. Then inked up the edges a bit.  The sentiment is from The Stamp Market.

Hello. Today I'm playing in the Addicted to CAS challenge of leaves with this card.

I stamped the skeleton leaf from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous in Versamark, then added some Ranger mica powder to make it shine.  The sentiment is from Park Lane.  I layered this onto gold cardstock and then used a square top folding card to finish it off.

FOREVER - TSOT#679

Hi all! It's time for another sketch challenge over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday. This one has a bit of a different spin to it.  We are looking for you to doodle anywhere on your project!!!

I actually doodled the flowers using a Zig Millennium pen.  I started with cutting out the postage stamp die from Gina K Designs and used it as a stencil to blend a light blue background using Oxide ink.  The sentiment is from Waffle Flower.
