Hello! Well, I made it back from CA and home to normal - even though it's raining, which is normal!
This card came about because of a quilt I saw on Pinterest. I like how the fabric was cut into triangles and then made into squares. For some reason it caught my eye and I decided to replicate it in paper.
I used Lasting Impressions designer paper and paired it with vintage creme cardstock. The striped back ground is done using an old background stamp from TAC and vintage creme ink and some clear embossing powder.
Sentiment is from Verve and I dusted off my square nesties to cut it out. Added a few tiny self adhesive pearls to make it stand out. I also used a white pen to add a bit of stitching to the DP, but it's hard to pick up in the dark photo.
Thanks for stopping by!

I love the quilt themed card, it's beautiful and I saw the white faux stitching right off! It's a perfect addition to the theme. (I used to make quilts years ago!)
Wow Laurie, what a terrific idea and so very crafty of you! Love the pretty papers you used to form your squares!
Very pretty and what a great way to use up some of those favorite scraps we all save. I had forgotten about the stripe bg stamp from TAC.
