This is my new set from Memory Box (except for the sentiment, which is from SU!) that I picked up from Impress Rubber Stamps. I saw a version of this on their web site and just had to try making the bees.
I started with white shrink plastic, stamped the bee's with stazon and colored them with sharpies. The sky is done with ice blue chalk ink from Colorbox and my Picasso stencil. The flowers are from the same set and I added a stick on pearl in the center of each flower. The pearls are from Kaiser craft products and are self adhesive and very reasonably priced.
This next one is from the Penny Black Salutations stamp set. I have used this set so often and I highly recommend it! The flowers are stamped with Colorbox Q inks, and I found papers to match the inks from the Core'dinations paper line. I know so many of us have this flower punch - well here's a way to use it. I like the simplicity of this card! As you can see those pearls got used a lot in these two cards!!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! The weather is beautiful and hot here in the PNW! Too hot to stay in doors, that's for sure! I'll post another card sketch after it cools off!
