Card Sketch #45 - Thankful

Here's sketch #45! This one's a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 square card with some different shapes! I've had a lot of you comment on what size my cards are, so I will try and remember to post the dimensions from here on out. The previous sketch was an A2 card or 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

The card base is just plain old white cardstock cut to the size above. The black card stock measures 5 x 5 and matted with turquoise cardstock to match the ink of the images. I used my circle coluzzle to cut the half round circle. I stamped the image on the white half circle and then distressed it with black ink. Since the swirls are so awesome on this stamp I decided to use it to add some background detail onto the black panel. As you can tell, this is also embossed with clear ep so that it would shine. I used my photo corner punch to punch out the turquoise and added faux brads with my sharpie and attached it in the bottom right hand corner with dimensionals, real brads would've made it a bit too bulky. The sentiment is stamped with the same ink that was used throughout the whole card. I added some skinny ribbon as bands for both sides. Don't ya just love how turquoise and black look together! Have fun with this one!

Supplies:
Turquoise cards stock from Bazzill
Stamp - Bohemian swirl by Inkadinkado
Sentiment stamp - Hero Arts
Ink - Turquoise from colorbox
Clear embossing powder
Black ribbon
