Hi, and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.
I used the shattered background stamp from SA and Tim Holtz to create the background for this. I stamped in versamark onto watercolor paper and heat embossed with white embossing powder first. Then I used Paynes Grey acrylic ink from Daler Rowney to get the dark moody blues. The large snowflake is an old die from My Favorite Things. Added a few clay snowflake shaker elements and called it good.
Thanks for stopping by.

The snowflake is from my stash.

What a great color, Laurie, and the embossing technique is excellent too. Your card represents our sketch challenge beautifully. I hope you entered this at Double Trouble, too.

This is awesome! I love how you did the shattered background stamp with white embossing to achieve the look that you did. And the giant snowflake in the center is perfect. Amazing card! Thanks for playing with us at Double Trouble :)
Pretty papers and a lovely snowflake for your card!
