Hello - wow, two posts in one day. Multi-tasking is a wonderful thing sometimes. Here's my take on The Friday Mashup this week.
I changed things up a bit and departed from my usual clean and simple stamping style. In other words, there is a lot of designer paper on this one and no stamping. It's from Papetrey, Ink and it's out of there fall collection that they had a while ago.
Acorn is a die from Lil' Inker Designs. I cut it from basic white cardstock and then added some distress inks. It's popped up on top of the stitched circle using foam tape.
The "thanks" die is cut out three times and layered one on top of each other for some added dimension. I used the Stick it! adhesive to make this easy peasy.
Card base and circles are rustic white cardstock from PTI.
Thanks for looking and would really enjoy hearing some feedback on my departure from CAS.

Such an adorable card! The papers you used look great and I love the acorn and sentiment, they complement each other well!
Thanks for playing along with us at The Friday Mashup!
Hi Laurie, I love how you added some depth to the acorn by using some distress ink. By using the white stitched circle, the acorn becomes the focal point of your card. Thanks so much for linking up and playing along at The Friday Mashup! Hugs Antonia
Very nice! I love the off-centered acorn, allowing for room for the sentiment. Great use of the layout. Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup this week.
Well it is not your usual CAS and I LOVE IT - great layout and the acorn is just too cool.
