Start with coffee

Hi everyone! Here is my take on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch. I turned it sideways to accommodate a new die set I just got.

The picture is a little crooked, so tilt your head to the left a bit for a straight on look at this! =)

Coffee cup die and sentiment is from My Favorite Things. The stitched star came from SSS and the stitched scalloped die is from pretty pink posh.

Black, white and kraft cardstock and the polka dot designer paper is from Papertrey, Ink.

I added some black cording between the dp and the scallped border to add some interest.

I used a lot of foam tape on this. The cup was popped up first, then I added thicker foam mini squares to the lid. I finally added a bit to the star so that it would stick out a bit.

Ok, that's it for today! Thanks for stopping by!

I'm loving the coffee stamps that are so popular and there are so many little coffee gifties that you can put with these cards. Great card.

A super card. Love the way the topic - coffee - and the colours support each other.

I'm checking out blogs as I'm working on my first cup of coffee and I'm definitely starting to feel that I can "rule the world"! Love your plain neutral for this coffee card - but all dressed up with polka dots and scallops! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
