Hugs! - SSC365

Hi all. We have a new sketch up over at Sunday Stamps.

The corner dies are from Papertrey, Ink that I've had in my stash forever.  The gingham paper comes from Echo Park and the circle hugs stamp is from Concord & 9th.  I also used C&9 eucalyptus ink and cardstock.

This should be a fun sketch - I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sending a little note

Hello. I'm participating in the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches today. What I had in mind and what I ended up with were very far apart. LOL.

The eucalyptus paper is from Concord & 9th.  I cut apart the distress brick die cut from Picket Fence to work in both squares.  The leaf branch is cut from both black and eucalyptus paper and layered together so it stands out a bit more.  The sentiment is from The Stamp Market, and the small dragonfly is an oldie but goodie from Memory Box.

Thanks for stopping by.

happy birthday - TSOT#665

Hello and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try A Sketch on Tuesdays.

I kept mine super clean and simple this time.  The birthday sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and the embossing folder is an old one from Provo Craft/Cuttlebug.  I used dark green cardstock from C&9th to layer and add the stripes on the side.  Sketch below and link to blog is here.

Congratulations - SSC355

Hello and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  This on has so many possibilities.

The leaf background stamp is an old red rubber one from Rubbernecker. I inked up with Sage ink from Simon Says Stamp then cut it up for the panels outlined on the sketch below. The leaf die is an old one from Memory Box that was cut from white cardstock and then colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is from MFT stamps.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you'll join us over at Sunday Stamps.

Flakes - SSC350

Hello. Welcome back. Today over at Sunday Stamps we have a sketch to play with.

This card took me way tooooo long to make. LOL.

The snowflake background stitched die is from Waffleflower.  The top hat is a die from Jaded Blossom and the sentiment is from a retired company called There she Goes stamps.  I used black rhinestones for the eyes on the snowman and cut the noses out of scrap orange paper.

Below is the sketch for you. Thanks for stopping by.

Wreath cards

Hello. Made a few Holiday cards using this lovely die from Lawn Fawn.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts and heat embossed in gold. I used light and dark green cardstock and switched up the orders to get two for one, if you will. I also added a bit of sparkle on the berries with a bit of a wink of Stella.

Entering these into the following challenges.

Winter snowflake mittens

Hi everyone. Playing in the sketch challenge over at The Paper Players today, the sketch is down below.

Do you ever have one of those days where everything is stacked against you when you think you have this fabulous idea for a card?  That was me on this one.  I was bound and determined to use this older mitten stamp and die set from Hero Arts. I was having a difficult time choosing the cardstock colors to match the designer paper from Gina K Designs. Should I go with a light or a dark-colored cardstock? I think I waffled on this three times before landing on the dark color.   I heat-embossed the stamp design using white detail embossing powder onto peacock cardstock from C&9th.

I used an old snowflake embossing folder from Provo Craft for the background.

Thanks for stopping by.

Thinking of you

Hi all. Playing in the color challenge over at Just add ink today.

The sentiment is a very old $1 stamp set that I've had for 15+ years and have no idea who made it.

Flower dies are from Jaded Blossom and the leaves and the flower centers were taken from the TH sizzix small tattered florals die set.

I believe the diamond die is from Memory Box. I did add a bit of yellow saturated ink from Simon behind it to highlight the flowers.  The yellow cardstock is from PTI and the oceanside and aqua sky are from Concord and 9th.

Thanks for stopping by.

Thinking of you

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge over at Less Is More, this time around is anything goes but keep it clean and simple.

The butterfly stamps and dies are from My Favorite Things and are colored with Copic's.  The sentiment is from recollections. Full disclosure: This went out several months ago to a co-worker who is battling breast cancer.  She shared it on Facebook, so you might have seen a peek already.

Here is the cue card.

Textured Poinsettia

Hello. Playing in the #563 Freshly Made Sketch Challenge today.

I used a red/pink background from my stash to cut the poinsettia out. Added some fir branches around it and stuck a circle frame in gold per the sketch.

I purposely left the strings (and added a few more) to the broadcloth panel. I just liked the texture and rustic look of it.

Hello

Hello everyone. It’s time for a new sketch challenge over at Try Stamping On Tuesdays.

Leaf stamp is from My Favorite Things and stamped with Catherine Pooler Bay Breeze ink. Tiny hello stamp is from Whimsy Stamps. Used some designer paper from Honey Bee that already had some splatters in it. Added a few more across the solid cardstock panel and called it good.

Here is the sketch for you to use as inspiration.

Grateful

Hello and Welcome to another Fusion Card Challenge, where you can use the sketch or the photo or both. Here is what I did with it.

I went with the color of the left hand mug/pumpkin in the photo as my starting off point.

The mugs are from Papertrey, Ink.  I was trying to do a mirror stamped image of the coffee cup using a solid photopolymer background clear stamp. I inked it up using Rubbernecker fuse ink in whisper and when I released it, it gave me this marbled effect. Oh, what a happy accident. I fussy cut them out and popped them on the card following the sketch.

The sliplap planks die is from The Greetery.  Grateful sentiment is from the Recollections brand, heat embossed in detail white.  Embossing folder is from SU and the lovely ocean side and aqua sky cardstock is from Concord & 9th.

Please check out the Design Team’s creations for this challenge, once again, they have knocked it out of the park.
