Pretty in pink birthday card

Hello! Here is another card made from the Stamp TV kit from Gina K Designs. Only more more to show you after this and I'll wait a bit to post it. =)

The flower is stamped in pink chalk ink from Studio G randomly all over white cardstock. I cut a square out and stamped the birthday sentiment in Ranger Archival jet black ink and layered in with black cardstock.  The pink cardstock that was used as the base of the card is from SU, but I wouldn't know the color. I purchased some pre-cut samples a few years ago and I'm still using them up.

Kaisercraft back rhinestones used in the points of the diamond and black gingham ribbon is tied to the right hand corner.

This is a pretty CAS card, but I like how the color combo turned out using these stamps!

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Hope your having a great week!

Victorine Originals Challenge

Hi everyone! The challenge over at Victorine Originals blog this time is Happy Birthday or Happy Everything, won't you join in?

Here is what I came up with.

The owl is colored with copic's and I used some glossy accents on his eyes to make them stand out. This was a real CAS masculine card to make so that I can replenish my stash.

I also uploaded this card to SCS Saturday Inspiration challenge, too.

Supplies:
Stamps - Victorine Originals
Ivory Cardstock - Papertrey, Ink
Brown cardstock - American crafts and PTI
Kraft paper
Polka dot DP is from my scrap pile
Memento Ink

Thanks for dropping in!

PTI June blog hop - Just thinking of you...

Yea! I get to play in the Papertrey, Ink blog hop this month! Here's the inspiration photo.

This months inspiration is a fun take on florals, ruffles & pleats.  I really liked the color combo on this and designed my card around it as well.

The Embellished stamp set was used to create the back ground using Memories Alligator Chalk Ink and Yellow chalk ink from Studio G.  I used some yellow construction paper to create the pleats and the flower. Distress ink in Scattered Straw is sponged onto the ends of the petals. Added a small white button to the center to create a focal point. Green grosgrain ribbon is from RABOM.

All dies used in this project are from Papertrey, Ink.

Thanks for stopping by! I'd love to hear (see) what you think!

So Greateful

Hello all! Here is another card using the new stamp TV kit from Gina K designs.

Leaf is stamped and ghost stamped using Palette Jardin Moss ink. Sentiment is stamped in Archival jet black ink.

The green designer paper is from HTOP and I ran it through the plaid embossing folder to add a bit of texture. Love how it turned out!  Layered with black cardstock. The black label die is from PTI  and I used green satin ribbon behind it.

Small black rhinestones from Kaisercraft used on the top right hand corner of the main panel to add some last minute interest.

Like I said in my previous post, loving the new clear stamps from Gina K Designs. I whipped up about 4 cards using them, so stayed tuned.

Hello Sunshine!

Hello everyone! What a week this is turning out to be so far! YUK! Weather has been totally crappy! So, to cheer myself up I made this!

Stamps are from Gina K Designs - it's the stamp TV kit this month. Love it! I got the new clear set of stamps instead of the rubber and I'm in love with them! Two thumbs way up for Gina going to clear stamps!

Colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a Atyou spica yellow pen for the sun and the clouds have a little stardust in them.

Blue cardstock is from Hot Off The Press and the red designer paper and ribbon came from the stamp TV kit.

They say that the sun is suppose to be out on Thursday, which is the first day of summer. Yea! Too bad it won't stay around long, though!

Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping in!

Blah

Hi there! I hope this finds you doing well. My day job has me running around in circles and it'll be that way for the next month and a half. August cannot come too soon for me!

Here's a card I did that I'm not too fond of - it's kind of Blah! But, I figured I post it and let you all tell me what it needs. Don't be shy....

All the stamps are from Verve. Flowers are colored with Copic's and the bright yellow buttons are from Oriental Trading company that I got years ago in a kit.  I colored the satin ribbon with the same pink Copic as the flowers.

The boarder die is from Memory Box. Cardstock is from Bazzill and HOTP. The flowers are popped up in different levels using foam tape. It's kid of hard to see in the picture, though.

So, what does this need? Change the buttons out to white? I think the in your face yellow is what I don't particularly like.

Black magic leaves

Hi everyone! I was looking through all the resources available over at SCS and decided to play around with the black magic technique for a change.

I used the leaf stamp designed by Kim Hughes for Cornish Heritage Farms and stamped it onto black cardstock using palette fresh snow ink. Using colored pencils, I added some subtle color. The white dots are done with the distress picked fence marker.

The leaf die cut is cut from Bazzill cardstock using the new Memory Box die. I added some tiny pearls onto it to match what I did on the black magic piece.

The sentiment is from Verve as is the die I used to cut it out with. Lastly, I used the lattice embossing folder on the white cardstock to add a bit of texture.

What do you think? Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Thinking of you

Hi there! I found some time today to play around with week 2 of Viva La Verve sketch challenge over on SCS. I was also practicing my water coloring and actually think I like how this turned out.

Poppy stamp is from A*Muse Studio and stamped in Archival jet black ink from Ranger. I used my Marvy Le Plume markers in yellow, butterscotch and pumpkin to water color.

Doily is cut out of water color paper using the die from Papertrey, Ink. The sentiment and the vintage oval die are from Verve and also cut out of water color paper. The green swiss dot paper is from Bazzill and the fern green designer paper is from Hot Off The Press.

The pennant is made by using water color paper and brushing on the same colors as the poppy. Then I used the ribbon banner die from Verve (psst..it's on sale right now) to cut the point.

What do you think? Thanks for dropping in and have a fabulous weekend!

Feel better soon

Hi everyone! Here's a quick card I put together using a sketch from Viva La Verve.

Flower stamp is from Poppy stamps and the ink used is Fresh Ink in Freesia, both were purchased from Impress Rubber Stamps.

Sentiment is from Verve, stamped in Archival black ink and then cut out with circle nesties. Blue cardstock is from Hot Off The Press.

The satin ribbon was colored using a Copic marker that closely matched the ink used for the flowers. Bow tied using the Bow Easy. Lastly, I added some clear dew drops to the left side. I always forget that I have these!

Thanks for stopping in!

Mojo #244 - seeds of today

Hello everyone! I'm off for a few days while Chloe recuperates from having been spayed. She thinks that she can run and jump around - keeping her calm has been a challenge. She's been in her kennel sleeping off the tranquilizer while I got this card done.

Sentiment is from Verve and stamped in Archival Jet Black ink. Light yellow cardstock is from Bazzill and I used the lattice embossing folder for the back ground. The blue gingham designer paper is from Making Memories.

The small scallops are made using the cookie cutter die from Quickutz/lifestyle crafts. I pulled out the sparmax compressor and air brushed one of the white rose yellow using the Y11 Copic marker. The blue roses came that way in a package from the $1 section at Michaels. A white satin ribbon what tucked in under the yellow embossed panel and the bow was tied using the Bow Easy.

So ~ what do you think?

Birthday Wishes

Hello everyone! I was just recently at a Craft Warehouse store over in the Tri-Cities (in Wash. State) and they were having a 40% off stamp sale! I didn't intend to spend money when I first went in, but who can refuse a sale? Here's a card I made using a new back ground stamp.

It's from Hero Arts and it's called Lattice. The die that I used to cut out the sentiment is from Verve Stamps and matches pretty closely. Sentiment stamp is from Papertrey, Ink.

Ivory and brown cardstock is from PTI and the kraft really is paper bag thin paper from Paper Accents. Brown ink from A*Muse Studio is used to stamp the lattice background and also sponged around the sentiment panel.

Burlap is cut using the scallop cookie cutter die from Quickutz/lifestyle crafts. Brown grosgrain ribbon is tied onto the panel to complete the card.

Thanks for stopping in!

Hello

Hi everyone! Can you believe it's already June? This card came about because I was again playing around with new stamps!

Telephone stamp is from Papertrey, Ink and is stamped in Ranger Archival jet black ink. I love using this ink because I get awesome coverage with it.  I cut the little hear out with a die from PTI and popped it up using foam tape. The label dies are also from Papertrey, Ink.

The red designer paper is from Lasting Impressions and the music designer paper is from Creative Imaginations. White, red and black cardstock is from PTI.  Every time I look at this card it just begs me to ask "what's your ring tone? and what's the story behind it?"

Have a great weekend!
