Love you - TSOT663

Hello and welcome to another sketch challenge at Try a Sketch on Tuesdays.  Here is the card I made and the sketch for you to use.

I used several different rolls of washi tape to create the background behind the vellum heart.  The die is from Jillian Vance. I also used a few word dies to create the love you sentiment.

Love...

Hello. I'm playing in The Paper Players "Love is in the air" theme challenge today.

The heart die is from Echo Park.  I used a distress background that I created using lumberjack plaid that has been sitting in my stash for a while.  I popped up each little heart with a foam square to give this a bit of dimension.

The sentiment is an old one from Technique Tuesday.

A note of encouragement

Hi there. I'm playing in the CAS on Fridays challenge of flowers today.

The flower dies are from Simon Says Stamp. I cut them out of white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from Wplus9.

So many possibilities with this die set. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello - TSOT662

Hi everyone. It's Tuesday, which means there is a new sketch challenge up over at Try aSketch on Tuesday.

The delicate dahlia stamps, stencil, and die are from Gina K Designs. The hello sentiment is also in the set.  I used Simon Says Stamp saturated inks to color them.  The gingham designer paper is from A*Muse studio.  I added a few dew drops for some bling to the card.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you join our challenge. Link above.

Happy Birthday! SSC352

Hello, and welcome back to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps. Today we have a cool sketch for you to use.

The bird stamp is from the former Angel Company. I stamped it using archival ink onto a piece of cork, then cut it out with a circle die.  I chose not to color the bird to keep it clean and simple. The small birthday sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.   Below is the sketch.

You are capable

Hello. I'm participating in a mixed-media altered index card challenge today. This is week 2 of the 2025 altered index challenge, and the prompt calls for butterflies. However, my take on the challenge is singular.

The butterfly die and distress diamond stencil are from Memory Box. The brick stamp in the background comes from the Sam Poole collection at Creative Expressions. After adding a layer of gesso, I used antique linen and speckled egg distress colors on the background of the index card. The final pop of color comes from a spritz of speckled egg spray that I let run down the surface.

The finishing touches are black splatters and a sentiment sticker from small talk idea-ology stickers from Tim Holtz.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi There - TSOT661

Hi everyone. There is a new challenge up today over at Try A Sketch on Tuesday.

I used an old stamp from The Angel Company to stamp the sprigs using Eucalyptus ink from Concord & 9th.  I also did a lot of direct-to-paper inking for the left-hand strip and the layers, using the same ink color.  The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday and the embossing folder is from Stampin Up!  Below is the sketch.

Happy Birthday SSC351

Hello. Welcome back to another challenge at Sunday Stamps. This week, we have a photo prompt inspiration for you to use.

The stencil and headphone die are from My Favorite Things. I used Simon Say Stamp ink to blend out the equalizer colors. The birthday sentiment is from Avery Elle, and I stamped it using Mocha ink rather than black.

Here is the photo prompt.
