Happy Birthday

Hello. I'm playing in The Paper Players #PP800 sketch today.  What a huge milestone!

The designer paper for this comes from Moda Scrap. I used the square blanket die from Pink Fresh Studio to cut the flower dsp out.  The stripes within the pack worked well for the strip called out in the sketch.  The sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

The dragonfly is cut out using the matte black cardstock from Tim Holtz. I love how rich and deep that black is.  The blue cardstock behind the white panel is from Altenew.

Thanks for stopping by.  Below is the sketch.

You're some kind of wonderful

Hello. I'm playing in a few challenges today with this card.

The sunflower stamp is an old one (an a goodie) from the former Angel Company.  I colored it with Copic markers.  Tag die is from Papertrey, Ink.

The yellow gingham designer paper is also old from my A*Muse studio stash.  I cut a strip of green cardstock and added a length of self-adhesive lace border to it for added interest.  The sentiment is from The Stamp Market.

With sympathy - TSOT702

Hello and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.

The designer paper is a digital kit from Pink Monarch Prints. I just got a Canon G6020 printer that has the refillable ink cartridges and two ways of putting paper through the printer. It works on all types of paper (even cardstock) and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to buy it!  Highly recommend.

Leaf die is an old one from Memory Box.

Here is the link to play with the above sketch - hope to see you over there.

Sending you a paper hug

Hello. I'm playing in this week's Freshly Made Sketch with this card.

The sentiment is from The Ton and I stamped it in mocha ink from Simon Says Stamp.  The leaf dies are from Jillian Vance Designs. I used Distress Oxide ink to color them, except for the oak leaf.  That used SSS inks.

The designer paper in the back is a digital that I've had printed up in my stash.  Added some jute ribbon on top and then stacked the leaves to it with foam tape.  The outline stitched die is and old one from My Favorite Things.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Birthday - SSC392

Hello!  We have a new sketch challenge up over at Sunday Stamps today.  It's a good one!

The leaf stamp is an old red rubber stamp from Rubbernecker stamps (now Brass & Bliss). I used Eucalyptus ink from C&9 to stamp it onto a card base.  The cardstock behind the image is also from C&9 and it matches the ink.  The birthday stamp is Globeland off of Amazon.

Get well soon

Hello. I finally got my new Paperartsy set designed by Alison Bomber and was playing around with it and a new stencil from Studio Light and came up with this.

I used walnut distress ink with the stencil, then stamped the tallest grass stamp over it.  Get well sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

I'm entering this into the following challenges.

Wishing you a beautiful day

Hello. I'm playing in a few challenges today with this card.

The bicycle dies are from Brass and Bliss. The cloud stencil is from A colorful life designs and the trees, bushes and hill stencil is from Simon Says Stamp.  I also used their inks to blend through the stencils.

I sent this off to a Co-workers wife who is a SU demonstrator, as a thank you. She recently made up a bunch of card kits that were handed out to us during our last meeting.  Such a sweet gesture and much appreciated.

Thanks for stopping by.

Celebrate

Hello. I decided to play along with the sketch over at The Paper Players today.  Here is what I created with it.

I used some digital images for the background panel and tag.  The tag die is from Simon Says Stamp. I used a Copic marker on white satin ribbon to match the colors in the paper.  I used a blue scrap of paper from craft consortium for the middle part.  And the celebrate sentiment stamp is from Tim Holtz.  I also got out my crop-a-dial and set an eyelet into the tag.

To those of you in the US, Happy Independence Day - this year is a big one.  Stay safe and enjoy the festivities with family and friends.

Just keep swimming - SSC389

Hello and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  I took liberty with the sketch and went with shapes that closely resembled an oval for grins and giggles.

The stamps and dies are from an old set; just keep swimming from Papertrey, Ink.

I ink blended the strip behind the whales and added bubbles before popping the whales down. I colored them both with Copic's.

Thanks

Hi there! I'm playing in the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches with this card.

The circle and strip behind it were taken from a master board I created with mixed media paper and several different mediums.  Crackle paste was used as well as gesso, mattints, paints, etc.

The thanks die has been in my stash forever, so I have no idea who the maker is.  The leaf die is an old one from Memory Box, and lastly the border dot stitched die is from Jillian Vance Designs.

Thanks for stopping by.
