Thinking of you

Hello. Playing in a few challenges today with this fall card.

The leaf die is from Simon Says Stamp.  I used old book pages to cut out several leaves.  Then, I proceeded to distress them using Ranger Distress inks.  The sentiment is from The Ton, and I added some clear dew drops for added interest.

Merry Christmas - SSC368

Hello. Welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Sunday Stamps.

The Merry Christmas sentiment is from Michael's brand of wood block stamps. I got it in their Christmas section several years ago. I stamped it in Versamark and heat embossed it with gold to match the strip of gold mirror cardstock on the left.

The sprig die cuts are made from several companies' dies.  Echo Park, Simon Says Stamp, Carta Bella, etc.  I did add some self-adhesive white pearls to resemble berries on the branch.

Thanks for stopping by.

Let it snow - SSC367

Hello. Welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Sunday Stamps.

This sketch is a good one to add to your arsenal for repeated use!

The stencil in the background is done with color fuse ink from Rubbernecker (Brass & Bliss).  The sentiment is from PTI and stamped in Versafine ink.  The snowflake is from SSS and cut out of neenah cardstock.  Then I decided to use some navy blue glitter on it.

I'm not a fan of glitter, but this turned out pretty good.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with this sketch.

Thanks for stopping by.

Adulting is hard

Hello. Playing in the photo inspiration challenge today over at Just Add Ink.

I liked the leaves, coffee, and plaid in the photo below and incorporated them into my layout.

The plaid designer paper is from Memory Box. The leaf is a die from Simon Says Stamp and was cut from a distress ink background that I had in my stash.  The coffee ring stamp is from Altenew and was stamped in Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink.  The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday.

Just wanted to say hello - TSOT#675

Hello, and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try a Sketch on Tuesdays.

I decided to go with a Criss Cross Card for this challenge as I haven't done one in ages and turned the sketch on its side.

Designer paper is from Stamperia Hidden Grove paper pack.   The base of the card is dark chocolate from SSS.

Mushrooms are stencils and dies from Pink Fresh Studio. To get the spots on the mushrooms, I used an old splatter stamp from SU, and heat embossed it with fine detail white powder.   The insert card has a tab that is created from an old SU punch.  Tied a bow using some jute string and called it done.

Hello. I'm playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today.

The hydrangea is a stamp from the Crafters Companion and colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from SSS CZ Designs.

I popped this up over a plaid dot background die from The Stamp Market.

Hello - TSOT#673

Hello! It's time for a new sketch over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.

I used the cone flower die from Simon Says Stamp as the focal point, along with the big hello die from SSS CZ Designs.

I cut the flowers out of basic white cardstock and then blended butter and mocha ink from SSS to color them accordingly.  The designer paper is from Lasting Impressions.

You got this

Hi....
I decided to play with this week's Freshly Made Sketch differently.  Instead of a flower, you get this dare.

It's a bit in your face with the sentiment, but it inspires you to go ahead, eat the entire double-decker cone!

The embossing folder is from Stampin Up.  The ice cream dies are from Simon Says Stamp, as is the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello - SSC362

Hi everyone. It's time for a new challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  This time we have a sketch from Melissa to try.

I used an alcohol ink background that I had in my stash to create the card using the sketch.  As you can see, I did some ink lifting, which left those wonderful ghost leaves in the background.  The die cut sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.  Here is the sketch.

Sending a little note

Hello. I'm participating in the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches today. What I had in mind and what I ended up with were very far apart. LOL.

The eucalyptus paper is from Concord & 9th.  I cut apart the distress brick die cut from Picket Fence to work in both squares.  The leaf branch is cut from both black and eucalyptus paper and layered together so it stands out a bit more.  The sentiment is from The Stamp Market, and the small dragonfly is an oldie but goodie from Memory Box.

Thanks for stopping by.

Wishing you the best day TSOT#667

Hello and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try A Sketch on Tuesday.

The rainbow, cloud and sun dies are from Reverse Confetti and colored using copics. I used several layers of grass and popped a few of them up with foam tape to give it a bit of dimension. Same with the smaller cloud.

Here is the sketch. Link up here.

Happy Anniversary

Hello. I had a few minutes to put a card together for the latest Freshly Made Sketches challenge yesterday.

The daisy die is made by Memory Box for Simon Says Stamp. I cut it three times, stacked it up for dimension and glued it down over the cut-out bricks.  The sentiment is from MFT stamps and stamped in hickory smoke archival ink. I used a dark gray as the cardbase on this to help make the flowers stand out a bit more.

Thanks for stopping by.

happy birthday - TSOT#665

Hello and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try A Sketch on Tuesdays.

I kept mine super clean and simple this time.  The birthday sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and the embossing folder is an old one from Provo Craft/Cuttlebug.  I used dark green cardstock from C&9th to layer and add the stripes on the side.  Sketch below and link to blog is here.

Hello and welcome to another sketch challenge at Try a Sketch on Tuesdays.  Here is the card I made and the sketch for you to use.

The sun ray is blended using bright yellow ink from Pink Fresh studio.  All the dies are from different companies that worked well together to create this get-well card.  The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.  I used Copic markers to highlight the clouds and popped them up using foam tape.

Sketch

You are in my thoughts - TFC#99
