Here is my coaster box that I finished as I completed the tutorial. Scroll down for the instructions on how to do this! Stamps are from The Angel Company - Curls and Swirls.

Tutorial - How to cover coasters
Ok, I'm going to try to do my first tutorial on here....Hopefully this turns out ok!
Assemble your glue stick (I use a colored one that dries clear so that I can see where I'm putting the glue) brayer and coaster.
Next, cover the coaster with glue (don't be stingy).
Add your choice of paper (any paper will work) to the coaster. Next, use your brayer to iron on the paper to the coaster.
Use your craft knife to cut the paper around the coaster.
Then use a sanding block or nail file to file off the rough edges. I just found the new file kit by Basic Grey that is just awesome, and I highly recommend it!
Then stamp or decorate the coaster however you want. Use a strong hole punch (crop-a-dile) to punch out your holes that you will use to tie your ribbons through. You can use 5 coaster to make a box or 2 to make a picture frame as I did below.

Chipboard coaster frame
This frame came about due to a weekend challenge over at ASB.
I covered the chipboard coasters with My minds eye paper from the wild asparagus line. By the way, Costco has this in a double pack with the Magnolia line in it too, for less than $14.00. Ok, let me get back on track. I use my brayer and a glue stick to get the paper to adhere to the coasters. (I should probably post a tutorial on this!)
I also covered chipboard tags and stamped on them using TAC More Abundance sentiments. I punched the holes in the coasters with my crop-a-dile, which made it a lot easier. Then I finished it off with some brads, eyelet's and ribbon.

Dragonfly in flight
This little dragonfly was a little bit of a challenge for me. It's actually one of those peel and stick outline stickers made by Amaco from HOTP. I backed it with a soft metal sheet of brass (again made by Amaco from HOTP), and carefully cut out the wings. When I added it onto the card it appeared as though it was "in flight". The cattail stamp is from Sunday International and colored with LePlume ochre and pine green markers.

Found a new rubbah store
Well, new to me but it's been around a while. Wow, I have to say that it is jam packed with sooo many stamps it'll take you hours to go through it all. It's called Impress Rubber Stamps. You can access their web site here. I bought a few new stamps that I'm show casing here. The flower and flower stems are from impress rubber stamps and I bought the sentiment there too. However there is no name on the wood block so I couldn't tell you who made it. Flowers are stamped with colorbox chalk ink in wisteria and warm green. Bazzill purple card stock is used to mat and to make the straps (SU window punch). The cute Little button brads are from Making Memories.
The Angel is from Lockhart stamps and I did this last November. I had it laying in my stack of stamped images waiting for me to do something with it (do you have one of these stacks?). However, I just couldn't find the "right" Christmas sentiment. Well, I found this one today. It's also by Impress rubber stamps and says "Hope your holidays sparkle and glisten". I added some glitter and that was that. I tore the blue mulberry paper for the back ground to add some character. The angel was done in prismacolor pencils. I used my stylus to add some texture and then colored over it. I used some glitter gel pens to add some sparkle to her.

Lily pad find
I found this stamp at the Heirloom's Rubber Stamp & Paper Arts Festival that I went to on Saturday May 19th. I couldn't tell you who makes the stamp either, as there were so many vendor's at the show. What a fun day of shopping and I also learned a few new tricks of the trade.
The dragonfly on the lower left is highlighted with "Sparklets" in blue ice, which is made by Denami Design. The cool new quick glue by Sakura is just the best find ever! It's a pinpoint roller that let's you put just a fine line (or more depending on what you want) of light blue glue (it dries clear) on your projects. This is great for those super fine glitters, beads, etc.
The lily pad is colored using my prismacolor pencils with odorless mineral spirits.

Sketch Challenges
I admit it....I'm a sketch challenge junkie! From both ASB and SCS! This sketch is from SCS #123. I stamped the butterfly image twice, once on regular card stock and then again on a transparency. I cut the card stock into squares and colored with my prismacolor pencils and OMS. Mounted the squares on light green card stock and adhered to the designer paper from provo craft. I popped the butterfly transparency on and it gave it a lot more definition! The amazing stamp is from hero arts. Green card stock is from Hot off the Press.

Resting Butterflies
I did this card for ASB sketch challenge. I stamped the butterflies in black stazon and then masked them so that I could stamp the leaves over them. The green panels have leaves stamped on with versamark to create that watermark look. I colored the butterflies with my prisma colored pencils and blended them using odorless mineral spirits.
Stamps are from The Angel Company: Butterfly is from Asian Butterfly and the leaves are from Pretty Posies.

Grateful
I made this tin for the "try a new technique" on SCS. You were suppose to come up with a end of year (school) gift for teachers, bus drivers, etc. Since I don't have any children, I will be giving this away to a friend.
The tin is from Provo Craft (I think) and resembles a band-aid tin box. I plan to fill it with candy to express my appreciation to one lucky individual. The paper is from Hot off the Press and I got it to stick to the tin with red double-sided tape. Embellish with ribbon, a stamped sentiment on a tag, punched out flowers and your set.

Lace it up!
Grab your crop-a-dile, some eyelets and ribbon and lace up your card. This was a fun card to do, the challenge is to line up the eyelets so that they match! Tearing paper is not my forte either, but this came out pretty good.
Stamps by The Angel Company (love and joy). Colorbox chalk ink in warm green and wisteria were used, as well as black stazon for the sentiment. Paper is from Hot off the Press, amethyst. I used the sparkled purple as the back ground, and the faux mulberry paper to stamp my images on.
