Simple Hello
Here's a quick and simple card for you today!
Hello stamp is from The Angel Company and is colored with a Copic Marker. This set comes with all kinds of little images to stamp in the middle of the "O" but I decided to use a button instead.
The button is from Oriental Trading Company that comes in one of their mega buttons in a box sets. I used some glue dots to attached it and added a bit of scrappers floss.
The blue cardstock is from Paper Pizazz. It's an 8 x 8 set of different colored paper that I got on sale a while back. The colors are really rich and have a slight texture to them.
Used the EK Success corner rounder on two of the corners just to be different. So, what do you think?
This Saturday May 1st, The Digi Shack is celebrating their One year Birthday and your invited to attend the party! Toni will be hosting challenges, giving away some prices, free digital images, etc. So join us over at SNR at 3:00 PM PST! Here's the link.

TDS Sketch Challenge
Here are my two examples.
The designer paper is from DCWV Old World Mat Stack. The flowers are colored with Copic markers and the sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink. I added a few small butterflies that I punched out with the punch from Martha Stewart. Labels 4 dies and circle nestabilites used to cut everything out.
The center of the flowers are blinged out with a stardust yellow gel pen from Sakura. The black cardstock is from TAC and the green is from Bazzill.
This next one is done with the newest paper line Vintage Shabby from Tim Holtz. Dark brown card stock is used to layer the circle and rectangle.
Again, the flower is colored with Copic's and this time the sentiment is from TAC. I distressed the pink polka dot back ground paper to be a bit different.
The clear buttons have been altered with a bit of the new dp and some glossy accents. Copic's are used to color the scrappers floss that I tied onto the finished buttons.
Make sure to visit the rest of the deign team blogs to see what they did with this weeks sketch. We would also love for you to participate! Just log onto TDS and use Mr. Linky so that we can all see what you created.
Thanks for stopping by!

Victorian Element
I used Memories Chalk ink in Angelic Pink to stamp the back ground panel and the main image. However, I embossed the center image with clear embossing powder.
The sentiment is from Enjoy Nature which is a hostess level A set that is retiring. Black and white gingham ribbon is added right above the sentiment and I tied a small bow to finish it off. This card is really soft and subtle in real life and didn't want to over do the embellishments.
So, what do you think?
I've been busy in the studio creating the last few days and having a blast! It's great to have some free time in order to play! Now, back to laundry! Have a great day!

G Thanks!
The varnished alcohol technique was used to create the papers in the center. Using Aqua and pearl alcohol inks and simple solution on regular printer paper. See tutorial here. I used the same paper under that clear button with some glossy accents.
The embossing folder is from Quickutz and versamagic sea breeze was sponged on after running it through my cuttlebug. The grosgrain ribbon is colored with B00 Copic Ciao Maker, which made it a little stiff and I could bow it a bit while adding it on the card. Scrappers floss is also added to the button.
Spellbinders Nestability circles and labels 4 were used and layered as the center focal point. The "G Thanks" is from Victorine Originals and stamped in Palette true black.
I'm itching to get into the studio and create. I haven't stamped since Monday and I'm going through withdrawals!
Have a great weekend and let me know what you think of this card!

TDS Wednesday Sketch Challenge
Here is my take on it!
Image is only one buck over at The Digi Shack which includes the sentiment. The original image is a set of three ties in a row and the Happy Father's Day on top. I did the sentiment as a stand alone and layered the ties on top of each other to use for the back ground on this sketch.
They are colored with Copic and Marvy LePlume markers. I added the tie tac's (mini self adhesive gold pearls) as an after thought and just love how it looks. I also did a bit of color enhancing to the tie panel using a stipple brush and some creamy brown chalk ink.
So, what do you think? Check out the other DT blogs and see what they came up with for this sketch! We would also love to see what you can do with it! Using Mister Linky's at the TDS blog, link your card so that we can see it and leave you some blog love!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!
Supplies:
Copic Ciao Markers
Marvy LePlume II markers
Brown cardstock from American Crafts
Designer paper from Paper Pizazz
Self adhesive gold pearls from Reflections
Label die from Spellbinders

The basket and tulip stamps are from Papetrey Ink and colored with Copic Markers. Bazzill green cardstock was used to layer everything. The designer paper is from Basic Grey - two scoops.
I actually changed out the Birthday sentiment to a thank you and sent this out to my Administrative assistant for being so wonderful! Administrative professionals day is this coming Wednesday.
I really like how this turned out - so springy and colorful. What do you think?

Thinking of you
It's too bad that this stamp from Deco Designs from TAC is retired. I love that leaf stamp! It is stamped in Memento Bamboo leaves onto olive cardstock. Then stamped in Palette Fresh Snow. The sentiment is from English Everyday Cuties, also from TAC, and stamped in Palette Noir.
On the kraft card base, I used the scor pal and scored two lines at the bottom of the card and then added the olive grosgrain ribbon between. The white border is done using the EK success Deco scallop border punch.
Thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think of this card.

TDS Sketch challenge
Here's what I did with it.
Image is obviously from TDS and the sentiment is from Gina K designs. The bird's body is colored with prisma color pencils and blended with OMS. His beak and the worm are colored with Copic's.
Designer paper and all of the cardstock is from Papertrey Ink and I used the long classic rectangle scalloped die to cut the scallops on both sides. Golden grosgrain ribbon is attached to the sentiment panel with some score tape and self adhesive pearls are added as anchors. Black and white gingham ribbon is used on the corners of the main image. After I added the photo mount ribbon pieces, I decided to add two more layers to make the main image a tad bit bigger.
What do you think? All of the design team is participating in this challenge and we'd love it if you would too. Just link your card to the TDS blog using Mr. Linky and we'll stop by and give you some bloggy lovin'.

Manic Monday Freebie Funday
Here's a sample I did with this image.
Everything but the sky is colored with Copic markers! That is done with a dauber and Memento Summer Sky ink. The drums were cut out and popped up with foam tape. The sand is colored with E51 and then I added the new super fine flower soft in sand for the ya, that's right - sand! Doesn't it look good? I used Mono Multi and the wide end adapter to get a good even coverage of the glue.
The palm tree stamp is from The Angel Company.
So head on over to the Digi Shack to get this freebie for today! Link here.

TDS 3D Challenge
Here is what I started with.
This was purchased for $1 at Michaels - you can generally find them in the dollar bins up front. I decided to cut it down a bit and get rid of the "O" on the top of the lined papers. So, I tore this apart and got busy altering the heck out of it.
Here's what it became.
I ended up cutting about an 1 1/2 inches off the top off of it. The image is the one that TDS was giving away for free last Saturday and if you missed it, you can pick it up for $1 at the shack. I colored her with Copic markers, cut it out with a rectangle nestie and layered it with the deep red cardstock. The sentiment is computer generated. Red gingham paper is from My Minds Eye. And just pretend that you don't see that little bit of blue poking through at the corner! LOL!!!
Two of the flowers were colored with R29 (Red lipstick) and then stamped with the Polka Dot's Basics II set from PTI. A black pearl is used for the centers. Obviously, I was going matchy matchy with the red with black polka dots ribbon that I tied onto the wire rings. Which also matches the scarf that is tied around the head of the lady. She so reminds me of my grandma when she was really young! I can remember her wearing her hair in just that fashion. She also taught me a lot about baking and cooking, too!
So, now you have to check out the rest of the design teams blogs to see what they came up with. Hopefully, you will be inspired to play along. Please link back to the Digi Shack with your project so that the design team can see it and leave you some blog love!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Blue
The new set is called Fanciful Vintage and I combined it with one of the flowers from the Spring Flowers set. The frame was stamped in Memento Summer Sky, and I really liked how it looked. So, I stamped a few of the other images too. I added a bit more color to that great frame by using a dauber and highlighting here and there. The flower is stamped in Palette Noir and then colored with a light blue Copic. Used a post it note to make sure that the flower stems didn't get into the frame.
The Friends sentiment is stamped in Versamagic night sky. The blue cardstock used to layer everything is from American Crafts. Added a blue satin ribbon and bow (tied with the bow easy) and then decided to add a bit of bling with the light blue rhinestones.
What do you think?
Have a super weekend!

Daffodil
The daffodil is colored with Copic markers, cut out and then popped up with foam tape. The designer paper is from BoBunny and it's layered with that yummy yellow from PTI, called lemon tart.
Black self adhesive pearls (from Kaisercraft) are added to the top left and bottom right corners. I decided to add the black layer behind the lemon tart to make the daffodil pop just a bit more. I love how it turned out!
Daffodil and the sentiment are from the Year of Flowers - Daffodil from Papertrey, Ink.
What do you think?
Monkey see, monkey do!
Everything is colored with Copic's. The leaf stamp is a retired one from The Angel Company. Nestabilities long and scalloped rectangles were used to cut out the main image. By the way, the longest scalloped rectangle makes a great border die!
So, what do you think? Thanks for stopping by!
TDS sketch challenge
The mail box image is colored with Copic's.
Sentiment is from Artfull Inkables and the designer papers are from DCWV (brown paper from the Linen Closet stack) and Basic Grey, wisteria paper pad. I just had to add some flower soft to the bush at the base of the mailbox. Here's a close up - it's a mixture of greens - pale, shamrock and Christmas that I mixed up myself.
Nestability ovals and PTI scalloped borders used to create this card.
Make sure you check out all the other Design Team members blogs to see what they created with this sketch.
I'll post another sample of the new images just released tomorrow! Have a great day!

The Digi Shack - new releases
On Saturday night we had a party over at SNR for The Digi Shack! There are four new images just released and a free image here. But grab it quick as it won't be there for very long!
Here is one of the new images being released.
I added a touch of pink and green to the flower in her hair with a Copic Marker. The designer paper is from Paper Pizazz. The doily border punch from Martha Stewart was used for the bottom dp. I tied a length of satin ribbon to cover the raw edges of the papers and then fashioned a double bow from the bow easy.
Oval nestabilities used to cut out the image and layers, and two of them are popped up using foam tape. I really like how this turned out - very classy and would make a great Mother's day card!
There was also a sketch challenge on Saturday night. Here's the sketch...
And here's my quick version during the release party.
The image is colored with Copic's. The designer paper is from K&Company and went really well with the teal cardstock from DCWV. My circle is a little bit bigger than the sketch, but that snail really is cool and I wanted to use him. He's been around the Digi Shack for a while and is not a new release, but at only $1 - he's a bargain. Grosgrain ribbon in a light brown/beige goes with the mail pouch - Other than that, no embellishments since I had to whip it up quickly for the challenge.
Stayed tuned for more new releases to be show cased later on this week.
Have a wonderful day!

Happy Easter
The white back ground is ran through the Victorian cuttlebug embossing folder. The bunny's egg is paper piece with yellow designer paper from DCWV. I used a light blue prisma color pencil and blended it with OMS to color the bunny. A little bit of pink to highlight the feet and cheeks, and were done!
Labels 1 used to cut out the sentiment and the pink layer behind it. The pink gingham ribbon was purchased from Joann's (those cute little bobbins) and the bow was created using the bow easy.
Have a great Easter with family and friends!
BTW - tonight is digi night over at SNR and The Digi Shack is hosting a PaRtY! Come see the new releases and get a free image!

Spring Color
Today's card was made with that in mind.
The stamps are from TAC "enjoy nature" which is a level A hostess set. The flowers are stamped in Versamagic and the sentiment is stamped in Palette Noir and then embossed with clear embossing powder.
I altered on the stamps - basically cut off one of the flowers to make a single one. That is what I used to add the pop of the red flowers within all the yelllows and oranges.
The corner rounder from Bind-it-all was used to round the corners on the bottom of the card. Lastly, I tied a bit of grosgrain ribbon around the bottom. In real life these colors are so rich and Tuscan looking.
Have a wonderful day!
Supplies:
TAC stamps
TAC Paper Mixx Moxie
Versamagic ink - thatched straw, mango madness, brick red
Grosgrain ribbon
Palette Noir
Clear embossing powder
