you can use the sketch or the photo or both. Here is what I did with it.
I went with the sketch this time around. Daisy is from Hero Arts and the thanks die is from Technique Tuesday. Designer paper is Spring Flowers from Moda Scrap and the embossing folder is from Provo Craft. Card base and all layering cardstock is navy.

Sweet Birthday Wishes
Hello. Playing in the CAS Colours and Sketch challenge today.
This one went together very quickly. I used the stamping village Happy Birthday set and chose the Pink and Main image with the lady bug. Stamped it in versafine and then heat embossed it in clear so that I could color the lady bug.
I then got out a dot stencil and used a finger dauber and distress black soot ink to create the dots on the pure poppy cardstock. Added a thin strip of black on top, then popped up the greeting panel using fun foam.
Hope you all are staying safe! thanks for stopping by!

Project of the week - colored pencils on kraft
Hello! It's my turn over at The House That Stamps Built to feature a project of the week. I'm using my Prismacolor pencils to color on kraft cardstock.
I stamped the tulip vase in versamark ink, then heat embossed it in fine detail white embossing powder. I chose to use shades of blue for the vase and then pinks and green for the tulips. I also used the blender pencil to blend the colors.
To get the highlights on the vase, I used the white pencil to add some "light" and then blended.
Here is a close up of the finished design. I ended up using deep navy cardstock to layer everything. I like how well it set off the finished vase of tulips.
Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Instagram cards
Hi everyone. Hope this finds you all staying safe and healthy! I'm sharing a few instagram cards that I didn't share here first.
Channeling my inner Tim Holtz on this one. It went out to a husband and wife team that has really been knocking it out of the park lately. They are quietly kicking ass in their business and telling all around them that things will be OK. I appreciate everything that they do!
Anyway, thanks for stopping in!
This one is colored with markers and huffed on. I love the handwriting font on this stamp, unfortunately, I have no idea who makes it - I will need to dig through my ever growing stamp supply to figure it out.
Anyway, thanks for stopping in!

I used the bird 211-P, Chickadee at Rest, but left off the pine and pine cones by coloring the stamp with markers and huffing on it. I recycled some coragated cardboard for the background. Added the sentiment tag using a round pin with some jute string. Cardbase is a dark brown.

just waving hello
Hi there. Playing in the CASe this sketch challenge today.
Paint stripe stamp is from Paper Smooches called positive strokes 2. The boy and girl and the sentiment are from Waffle Flower. I used pigment ink from Fresh Ink to stamp the paint stripes in.
Thought this was a fun card in these trying times, however, they are not practicing the 6 foot rule, but cute never the less.
Stay safe out there and thanks for stopping by.

It's the little things
Hello. I hope this finds you all safe and doing well. Playing in this weeks Freshly Made Sketch challenge today.
Stamp and die are from Greenhouse society from Technique Tuesday called Fresh Peony.
I cut out a square and turned it so that I could stencil some blue distress oxide ink onto the card panel. Then I cut out a frame to stick behind the flower spray.
Sentiment is from Memory Box stamps.
Take care and thanks for stopping by.

Crocus - Thinking of you
I went with dew drops, pastel colors and dimension.
Crocus are colored with Copic markers. I used a scalloped border die to cut them out and then popped them up on the pastel yellow cardstock using foam tape. Sentiment is also popped up. Sadly, my crocus are all done blooming now. They were so pretty, but never last long enough.

Thinking of you
Hello all - Playing in the sketch challenge over at Sunday Stamps today.
I was inspired by the wonderful designer paper from the Hello Beautiful card pack from Piatek Trzynastego.
The center cherry blossom stamps are from Penny Black and the sentiment is from WPlus9. I used the circle cut out die from PTI and then framed it in the green cardstock I used to layer the dp. I just stuck two circle dies together and taped them together to get the ring. Colored the cherry blossoms with Copic's. I used Neenah Solar White cardstock and made this a top folding card.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're staying sane and safe in the world.

Gnomes - Happy Birthday from all of us
Hello and Welcome to another Fusion Card Challenge, where
you can use the sketch or the photo or both. Here is what I did with it.
I turned the sketch on it's side and added the gnomes. These darling guys are a die from Simon Says Stamp. I used a piece of plaid designer paper from Lawn Fawn to cut out their shirts, then matched up the hats accordingly. Beards and noses are colored with Copic's. I also used a circle die as a stencil to sponge on the matching colored background. Small pompom's added onto the hats.
Please check out the Design Team’s creations for this challenge.

Happy Birthday

I chose to create a watercolor background using distress oxide inks. I really like how the three colors blended together so well. Blue print sketch, tumbled glass and cracked pistachio. I just smooched them down on my glass mat and spritzed with water, then drug my watercolor paper through it. I added more drops using water and a paint brush and splattering them on. After drying, I stamped the dragonfly in versafine and heat embossed it. The happy birthday die is from SSS and cut from shiny black cardstock. Threw in three dew drops and then added fun foam to the back before matting it with black.
