Hi everyone. Here is what I did with this weeks sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.
I kept this very clean and simple and let the stamped image be the main focal point.
Stamp is from CC Designs and colored with Copic's.
Sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and the blue gingham paper is really old from A*Muse Studio.
Tiny white satin ribbon hides the seam and that tiny bow gave me fits, but finally got it.
It's anything goes for challenges over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, so this is going there, too.
That's it for today. Thanks for stopping in.

Happy Everything
Hello everyone! I have some exciting news to share! I've been asked to join the design team over at Repeat Impressions. The House that Stamps Built is their blog, and you can find it here.
First up is this awesome sketch. See picture below.
I stamped the main image in intense black ink from Simon Says Stamps, so that I could color it using Copic markers.
I stamped the image again, so that I could fussy cut the dragonfly out and pop it up for an added bit of dimension.
Colored card stock is from Simon Says Stamp. I used the circle nesties to cut out the blue circle in back and the fishtail banner die is from My Favorite Things.
Water droplets (dew drops) were added for a bit of interest on the card.
That's it for today, hope you play along with this weeks challenge over at the House.
Here are the Rock Star design team's cards. Check them out!

The plane
Hi all. I've been playing around with the masculine inspiration m challenge over at Always Playing with Papers. I think it took me longer to take the darn picture(s) than actually make the card. You know how hard it is to pick up anything metallic when photographing it. So, I ended up taking several to share what the card really looks like, it's kind of shiny.
All stamps are from Papertrey, Ink. but from three different sets. I played off of the star on the tail end of the plane to add some additional die cuts and elements.
The plane, stars and birthday sentiment are heat embossed using silver embossing powder. Which you can see a bit better in the second picture.
Using the blueprints #18 from My Favorite Things, I cut out of several different stars using silver mirror cardstock. I used a few circle nesties to create the thin round layer to set the star in.
As you can see in the last photo, I added a few stars inside the card since they were extra, and helps to finish it off.
That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Dandelions
Hi everyone! I had a chance to put this card together for the sketch challenge over at The Paper Players in between loads of laundry today.
I sorta went out of my color comfort zone with this one. I had the dandelions stamped up and sitting in my "to make" box and decided come hell or high water I was going to use it today. Then I had to search and destroy through my designer papers for something to work. Ya, easier said than done.
I ended up using the mesh die from Cherry Lynn to cut out a piece of kraft to go behind everything. Striped dp came from Fancy Pants, happy go lucky 6 x 6 paper pad. The I just grabbed a dark brown piece that matched the stripe to go behind. Wood self adhesive dots are from My Minds Eye.
Back to house work I go. Got stew in the crock pot and the smell is making my stomach growl, but it's one less thing I have to worry about today. Thanks for stopping by.

Imagine
Hi everyone. Happy Friday. Here is my take on this weeks CAS(e) this sketch! I turned it sideways to work with the panel I already had in my stash.
I've been playing around with the Ken Oliver color bursts and saved a few that turned out pretty cool in my stash to use later. This one had a wonderful graduation of light to dark blue turquoise colors.
Using the imagine die from Memory box, I cut out the word using some white cardstock that was left over. Adhered it to the blue back ground then cut it out with the stitched fishtail banner, minus the fishtail.
Cloud dies are from Avery Elle and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp - I did alter it so that I could just use the "wonderful things" alone without the rest of the sentiment. Have a wonderful weekend!

Yellow daisies
Hi everyone! Here is a card that checks the boxes off of a few challenges today. First off, I used this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.
The daisy is from Simon Says Stamp and I cut it out several times using white cardstock. I then colored the top layers with Copic's and added a bit of distressing on the back layers with spiced marmalade.
The green tag is cut from the Memory Box round tag die. I cut it out using white and then colored it with the same green Copic marker that I used on the stems of the daisy. Tied on some gingham ribbon with some flax string and tucked it into the yellow panel.
Sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

I'll never forget you
Hi everyone! The challenge over at Less is More is to use three stamps. Here is what I did with it.
Stamps are from Simon Says Stamp and colored with Copic's. I did use my stampoholic Nano to get everything positioned just right.
Gray cardstock from My Favorite Things is use to layer the main images and it's popped up onto the white card base using foam squares. I used Neenah solar white cardstock in 110lb for the base and to stamp the image.

Birthday wishes
Hi everyone! Decided to play along with the challenge over at The Paper Players, which is to make a CAS card with a butterfly.
The flower and butterfly stamps are from Hot Off The Press. The stamp set has a lot of different flowers on it, along with the smaller butterflies and a bunch of swirls.
I heat embossed it using clear embossing powder and then colored it with Copic's. I used R81, 83 and 85 for the flower. The leaves are done using G40, 43 and 46.
Sentiment is from Technique Tuesday and I added the tiny black pearls to balance out the card.

Who rescued whom?
Hi everyone! It's been a really busy week for me but had some time today to put together this card for several different challenges out there in blog land.
The dog stamp is from The House That Stamps Built and colored with Copic's. Sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
After coloring the cute dog, I fussy cut him out and then popped him up using foam tape.
Designer paper is from a 6 x 6 paper pack I picked up at Hobby Lobby. I layered the different papers with black cardstock. Kraft card base is from Papertrey, Ink.
Adding this into the following challenges:
Freshly Made Sketches
DCC413 - Who let the dogs out
Simon Says Stamp - let's do the polka

Thanks bee to thee
Hi all. The theme over at Less is More this week is to use Geometric Shapes or Patterns on a one layer card. Here is what I did with it.
I used a stencil, embossing paste (tinted with yellow paint) to create the honeycomb. I let it dry and then stamped the bee's and the sentiment.
Stamps are from the Crafts Meow who are now out of business.
Memento yellow marker used to color the bee's and I also added a bit of sparkle using the clear wink of stella that you can't see in the picture.

Celebrating you
Hello! Hope this finds you all doing well. Today's card is one that came about as I was playing around with new stuff.
This flower set is from My Favorite Things and it also has coordinating dies.
I stamped the solid flowers and leaves in Fresh pigment ink (from my LSS) and then added the outline die cuts.
Burlap ribbon is from the Ribbon Girl across the pond. I chose to use something other than white as a card base for this one and I think the kraft looks pretty good. I did add some stitching around the border of it to add more dimension. Die is from Lil' Inkers.

Need a floaty?
Hey all! Here is a great little encouragement card that I'm going to send off to one of my co-workers. She's been a bit stressed lately.
Is he not the cutest? He's from Your next stamp. I stamped him using my Nano to make sure I got a good and solid black impression with the Versafine ink. I then heat embossed it using clear embossing powder. Colored with Copic's and then dug through my stash to find coordinating cardstock.
I ran the pool blue through the next generation embossing folder from We R Memory Keepers to match the spots on the floaty. Added two flags on either side with coordinating colors for some added interested. Dies are from My Favorite Things.
Inside of this I stamped "I'm here for you" which also comes in the set.
I used a bit of glossy accents on his swim mask to give it the appearance of glass. In real life it's pretty cool.
