You're a true inspiration

Hi! I'm playing in the Freshly Made Challenge paired with the color challenge over at Just add Ink.

The butterfly die is from Memory Box (it's an old one). I used the color inspiration below to ink blend Simon says stamp ink on the solid layer of the butterfly.  The designer paper is an old one from Bazzill basics, which happened to match the old cuttlebug daisy embossing folder.  The only new supply on this card is the sentiment, which is a press plate from Altenew.

Entering this into SSS anything goes challenge today too!  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday - SSC360

Welcome to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps. This time around we have a color inspiration board for you.

The sailboat dies are from the former Paper Smooches.  I also used an old Provo Craft embossing folder to create the waves and ink blended over it.  The tiny birthday sentiment is from The Paper Studio.

This is a fun color combo to work with. I can't wait to see what folks come up with. Link up here

happy birthday - TSOT#665

Hello and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try A Sketch on Tuesdays.

I kept mine super clean and simple this time.  The birthday sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and the embossing folder is an old one from Provo Craft/Cuttlebug.  I used dark green cardstock from C&9th to layer and add the stripes on the side.  Sketch below and link to blog is here.

Season's Greetings

Hello. I'm playing in the clean and simple challenge of Tag, you're it over at The Paper Players today.

I upcycled a Lucky Brands tag from a pair of purchased jeans.

The snowflake die is from Echo Park. The sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink and I used an old 5 x 7 Provo Craft snowflake embossing folder for the background.

I used a frost spritz spray on the snowflakes and in real life they are so sparkly, but hard to capture on camera.

Thanks for stopping by!

Merry Christmas to you and yours

Hello. Playing in this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge today.

The sentiment stamps are from Impress cards and crafts. I stamped them in versamark and heat embossed them in silver.  The snowflakes are from Echo Park and cut out of Tim Holtz Idea-ology silver sparkle cardstock. The embossing folder is an oldie but goodie from Provo Craft/Cuttlebug.  I accidently used the debossed side and then decided it looked pretty darn good behind the snowflake cuts outs, and left it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello

Hello. Playing in the TGIF challenge of pocket full of posies today.

The envelope die is from Hero Arts (I believe). All the flower dies are from Concord &  9th. The small hello is from Altenew.  I used an old cuttlebug plaid embossing folder in the background for dimension.

Congratulations - wedding card

Hello.  Playing in a few challenges today with this wedding card.

The dies are from My Favorite Things. I used an embossing folder on the wedding dress. I also added some pearls, because what wedding dress doesn't have pearls on it?

Spread your wings

Hello - playing in the sketch challenge over at TGIF Challenges

I cut down an ombre watercolor background from my stash and ran it sideways through an old Cuttlebug stick embossing folder to simulate water flow.

Dragonfly die is from The Greetery. I cut it out of the same watercolor panel and added some Indigo blu hansel luscious pigment powder over the top to give it a bit of shine. In real life, it looks pretty cool.  The sentiment stamp is from My Favorite Things.

Thank you

Hello and Welcome to another Fusion Card Challenge, where you can use the sketch or the photo or both. Here is what I did with it.

I turned the sketch on it's side and went from there. Thank you sentiment die is from Simon Says stamp. I used a striped stamp to put white lines on the brown carstock to mimic the white choc glaze on the strawberries. I also used the colors in the photo for the top elements.

Please check out the Design Team’s creations for this challenge, where there’s a lot of really awesome inspiration!

You are one of a kind

Hello all - playing in the sketch challenge over at The Paper Players today.  I did turn the sketch.

Stamps are from Technique Tuesday. I believe the snowflake die is from MFT and I used silver glitter cardstock to cut it out.  Teal cardstock is from Concord & 9th. I used pawsitively ink in Ocean and Unicorn white pigment ink from Hero Arts to stamp the sentiment and the snowflakes.

A snowflake embossing folder was used in the background and I adhered this all to a mid-tone gray card base.  Silver ribbon was added down the middle to match the snowflake.

Top hat

Hello. Playing in the The Paper Players theme challenge today.

I just got this stamp set from the Colorado Craft Company because it had this big top hat that Frosty the snowman wears. Loved it on sight.

I colored this using a lot of different mediums. I started off with Copic markers, added polychromo pencils, then black soot distress ink and highlighted with unicorn white pigment ink.

I kept the background of this 5 x 7 card simple, using only a snowflake embossing folder and matted it with black cardstock. I wanted the hat to stand out and be the star of the show.

Just a note

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is a designer choice challenge hosted by Heather and she wants to see Pumpkins.

I stamped and masked off three pumpkins and then colored with Copic's.  Used a leaf embossing folder for the background (hint, you'll see it used again on Monday for my project of the week).

Masculine debossed gears

Hi all. Playing in the clean and simple challenge of masculine over at The Paper Players today.

I used the larger (5 x 7) gears embossing folder from cuttlebug/provo craft to deboss the gears for this card. Added a border of gears cut out of metallic cardstock. Used the same cardstock to layer the birthday sentiment, which is from Simon Says Stamp.

Have a great day and thanks for popping in.
