You are enough

Hello. Playing in this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #437. I have to tell you, this one stumped me for a bit. I tried several different ideas, but scrapped them all - mojo was not happening. Well, the mail lady brought me my new distress oxide ink in speckled egg and some new stamps from Simon Stay Stamp, and an idea hit.

Butterflies seem to be working for me with FMS, so I went with it. The black frame die is from Honey Bee stamps. The butterfly and sentiment is from the new SSS set called Beautiful Butterflies.  I also used peacock feathers and chipped sapphire oxide inks to blend with the new speckled egg onto Bristol paper.

ETA: Entering this into SSS Wednesday challenge of Anything Goes.

Thanks for stopping in.

What's brewing?

Hello everyone - here is my last card for the Spring/Summer coffee lovers blog hop.

It's a digi from Stamplorations.

I printed it out on Neenah solar white 80 lb cardstock and colored with Copic's and colored pencils. I got lucky and found a piece of cardstock that matched the marker and used that in the background. Sentiment is from Honey Bee.

Have a great weekend!

Fusion Card Challenge - congratulations

Hello and Welcome to another Fusion Card Challenge, where you can use the sketch or the photo or both. Here is what I did with it.

I chose to follow the sketch and the colors in the photo. I used distress oxide inks and watercolor paper to create a background. Stamped the congratulations (stamps from Frantic Stamper) and heat embossed it, so that it would stand out on the water color paper.

Amazing, awesome, fantastic....you!

Hello. Adding another card into the 2020 Spring/Summer coffee lovers blog hop.

Coffee cup and sentiment "flavor" stamps are from Sugar Pea Designs. I thought the red gingham designer paper went with the hearts and it also reminds me of a summer picnic basket, blanket and seat cushions, etc.

You die is from Simon Says Stamp. The little heart stamp is from Lawn Fawn.

Gatefold card - feel better soon

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is the ever popular anything goes.

OMG - I did a fun fold card! Hydrangea is a part of the beautiful days stamp category over at Repeat Impressions. Link below. I stamped it in versafine, heat embossed then colored with Copic's. Added some yellow farika decoru yellow to the centers of the Hydrangeas. Some of them flattened out too much in the drying. Bummer!

There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built, and you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link up or win. Also, for my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar.

#caffeineplease

Hello! Second card today - this is another one for the Spring/Summer Coffee lovers blog hop.

Coffee cup stamps are from Art Impressions. The set is made to use for gift cards. The sentiment is from Planner Stamps and the "pull here" that I stamped on the tag is from Lawn Fawn.

Flowered cardstock is from Joann's Park lane brand and is paper pieced. Copic markers used to color the cup.

Thanks for stopping in .

You are amazing

Hey all - adding my second card to this weeks Freshly Made Sketch challenge. I was inspired by DT Karren Johnson's card.

I masked off the rectangle area and used distress oxide inks in squeezed lemonade and carved pumpkin to blend out the background. The huge butterfly stamp is from IndigoBlu. I stamped it in versafine ink, so that I could get all the details in the stamp. Popped up the sentiment and called it good.

I'll be back later with more coffee themed cards for the Spring/Summer hop.

Masculine birthday

Hello.  Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch today. I need two birthday cards for co-workers and used this sketch as a jumping off point.

Tool dies are from Taylored Expressions. Birthday sentiment is from Poppy Stamps. Used silver mirrored cardstock for the tools. Handles are cut from kraft and then colored with Copic's.

Also entering this into the Paper Players CAS challenge of men in mind

It's a little gloomy outside today, so picture is a bit on the dark side. Thanks for stopping by.

Tic-Tac-Toe challenge - thinking of you

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is the use the following graphic.

I used the bottom row to create this "thinking of you" card.

I used distress oxide ink to blend on some color to a piece of bristol cardstock. Then when dry, I stamped the flowers out. Fussy cut them out and added self adhesive pearls to the centers. Cut out some leaves and a few grapevine twisties to add to the bouquet. The quilted die is from Avery Elle. Added the cute little twine bow per the TTT board, which I almost forgot and had to add in at the last minute! (See Heather, you are not alone in that. LOL)

Flowers

Hello. Playing in a couple of challenges today both centering around flowers.

I started off with Bristol smooth cardstock, versamark ink and Ranger Fine white embossing powder and stamped the Peonies and leaves. They are from Sunny Studio. I colored them with Fuse Ink from Rubbernecker using makeup blending brushes. Love how soft they came out. The striped back ground stamp is from Echo Park. The fishtail banner stripes are white heat embossed first, then sponged on blue pigment ink from Fresh ink, the pink ink on the stripes is also from Fresh ink.

Sentiments are from The Ton. I used my brother scan n cut to create a black outline layer for the sympathy sentiment.
