Sending a little note

Hello. I'm participating in the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches today. What I had in mind and what I ended up with were very far apart. LOL.

The eucalyptus paper is from Concord & 9th.  I cut apart the distress brick die cut from Picket Fence to work in both squares.  The leaf branch is cut from both black and eucalyptus paper and layered together so it stands out a bit more.  The sentiment is from The Stamp Market, and the small dragonfly is an oldie but goodie from Memory Box.

Thanks for stopping by.

Get well soon - SSC356

Hello. Welcome back to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.

The rose is an old red rubber stamp from Gina K Designs. The set was called year of flowers. I used copic markers to color it. The bee is from Picket Fence stamps. I highlighted the wings with some shimmer from Wink of Stella.  The get well sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

Here is the sketch.

Happy Anniversary - TSOT656

Hello and welcome to another sketch challenge at Try a Sketch on Tuesdays.  Here is the card I made and the sketch for you to use.

The daisy die is from Simon Says Stamp.  I used a few sheets of designer paper from Moda scrap to go along with the sketch below. Instead of circles, I went with Bee's from Picket Fense. The anniversary sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

Thanks

Hi everyone. Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today. There are so many possibilities with this one and I kept it pretty clean and simple.

The branch is an old rubber wood block stamp from Memory Box. I used Tombow markers to color on the stamp and huffed to get a clean stamped image. The sentiment is from Hampton Arts and the dsp is from Craft Consortium.

Ok - the little bee is from Picket Fence and I used shrink plastic and a mini pancake maker to create it.  I've got to tell you that the $10.00 mini pancake maker (Walmart) is the EASIEST WAY EVER to use shrink plastic.  It's also the quickest in my honest opinion.

Examples of the bees are shown above. So many possibilities. There are a few YouTube videos on this using embossing powders (Marion from Wow is one) and you should check them out.

Thanks for stopping by.

Season's Greetings

Hello all - playing in the current sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches.

Used uncharted mariner distress oxide ink to blend out the dashed snowflake background panel die from Waffleflower. I added some white paint splatters (spray ink from Avery Elle) and spritzed some sparkle shimmer spray on it too. It's so hard to capture a good sparkle in the photos, but in real life both the snow flakes and the blue background panels look awesome.

Snowflake die is from Picket Fence. Sentiment is an old one from Papertrey, Ink.

Have a great weekend!
