Hi there! I decided to play in the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches tonight and came up with this.

The designer paper is from Tim Holtz memoranda pack.  I paired it with a strip of enchanted evening grosgrain ribbon from Papertrey, Ink.  Fig leaf die is from Simon Says Stamp and the sentiment is from My Favorite Things.  Added a small twine bow to ground the fig die cut and called it good.

Hello and welcome back to another challenge over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday!

The embossing folder is from Penny Black.  I used the postage die from Waffle flower on some designer paper from 49 and Market to create the panels.  I popped up one of the butterflies using some of the ephemera that was included in the paper pad.  Sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

Hello. Playing in the Dragonfly Dreams tag challenge today with this card.

The tag is from Simon Says Stamp and distressed with walnut stain distress ink.  The background is from a paper towel that I used to catch the "drips" from my Keurig coffee maker.  I thought it would make a good background so I used some liquitex matte medium to adhere it to a card base.

Hello. I'm playing in the Freshly Made Sketch #717 today. I've had this panel sitting in my stash for a while and put it to use on this sketch.

I blended distress inks onto the panel using antique linen and speckled egg oxide inks. The background script stamp is from Amazon and I stamped it in hickory smoke archival ink.   Next I added the scroll stencil from TH onto the panel with embossing paste. 

Blended out another panel using speckled egg so that I could use it for the small right-hand strip. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things and I used the same hickory smoke ink on it. Cut it out with a die and popped it up with foam tape. I love how soft this turned out.

Hello.  Here is my last reminder card for The Flower Challenge. Sniff! 

After 9 years of The Flower Challenge the December challenge will be our last. We want to thank all our design team members, past and present, and especially all our participants over the years. Finally, we thank Aileen Ryan for coming up with the idea and running the challenge in conjunction with Viv Hodge for the first 7 years. We will post the winners as usual on the 4th of January 2026. The challenge blog will remain open for floral inspiration. We will be back with our reminder post on the 15th.
