Happy Birthday

Hi there. I'm playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today with this card.

The confetti in the background is done using Simon says stamp ink and the confetti stencil from Waffle flower stamps. The birthday sentiment is from Jaded Blossoms.  I also used some thin black washi tape to create the separation on the card.

I created the balloons using a large round ballon die (didn't fit on the card) just for the "tie," then a circle die, and piece them together.  Added on the string, bows and a white gel pen highlight and called it good.  All balloon dies are from My Favorite Things.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello - SSC380

Hello and welcome back to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  It's anything goes with the sketch below!

I went with a ladybug theme.  Designer paper is from Echo Park and I believe the washi tape is as well.  The hello die is from CZ Designs.

The little ladybug in the center of the O is an old die from Memory Box.  Here is a photo of the washi tape inside of the card.

Hope you join us over at Sunday Stamps for this challenge.  Thanks for stopping in.

Take care of yourself - TSOT642

Hello and welcome to another sketch challenge at Try a Sketch on Tuesdays.  Here is the card I made and the sketch for you to use.

The flower die is from Honey Bee and I used SSS pawsitively saturated ink in cheeky, blush, pucker, field, and fairway to color the white card stock.  The sentiment strip is from a stamp set from Pink and Main. I stamped it using Versafine ink and then heat embossed it with clear powder. I used a bit of washi tape for the center stripe.

Sketch:

Thanks

Hi all - Playing in the Flower Challenge today and they have a sketch challenge up on their blog. Here is what I did with it.

I used Washi tape from Altenew to cover the panels that are called out in the sketch. This washi tape is wide enough to cover an A2 card and was a little hard to work with at first. But once you get the hang of how to handle it, it's awesome. Die cut several dragonfly and the Thanks, stacked and glued them all together so that they would stand out. The butterfly is chipboard cutout that I sponged black soot distress ink on. Added then onto the panels per the sketch and called it done.

Tic-Tac-Toe challenge

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is the use the following graphic.

I went down the center row. Use Washi tape, polka dots and off the edge.
The bonus is that I actually had washi tape that had polka dots on it. Used 10203-D, Leaf Cluster Outline and colored them with Copic's, cut the out and put behind the flower petals that I die cut out. Tag and label die from Technique Tuesday.  I used the same copic marker to color the seam binding that I attached to the tag.

There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built, and you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link up or win. Also, for my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar.

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged to use the following Tic-Tac-Toe board.

I went diagonal and chose;, washi tape, dimension and cats.  The stripes are washi tape. I thought they sort of resembled scratch marks. The cat panel is popped up using foam tape to create the dimension. Cat is colored with Copic's.

stay cool

Hello.  Playing in a few challenges today.  Started off using this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

The sketch looked to me like a jeans pocket, so that is what I went with. Of course, I had to distress it.  I started with some navy white core cardstock from DCWV and then used a small skinny oval die from My favorite Things to cut the holes. Then scratched it up with a sanding block and distressed the edges. Also used a dot border die on the edges and then went over it with a white gel pen.

The felt flowers were from my stash that I got from Ribbons and bow oh my, ages ago. They're kind of teenage girlie so that works for the TGIF Challenge.

The stay cool sentiment stamp is from Studio G. I used a strip of silver glitter washi tape and a small heart die to cut out hearts and added them onto the pocket to add some bling.

That it for now, thanks for stopping in.

Use your Washi tape challenge

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week it is Donna's Designer Choice and she wants us to use some Washi tape. Here is what I did....

I used this fabulous Washi tape with floral with gold accents behind the die cut out words and number. The "Everything" is from Repeat Impressions, stamped in versamark and then heat embossed in gold to match the Washi.
