Birthday cheer - SSC338

Hello and welcome to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  We have a new sketch and here is what I made using it. This is a fun one with so many possibilities.

I just got this new daisy set from Visible Image and put it to use on this sketch. I fussy cut the daisy out and popped it onto a piece of cardstock that matched the center of the flower. I did continue the splatters that are a part of the daisy stamp on the panel.  The Sentiment is from Poppy stamps.

I did outline the outer edges with a small blending brush and ground espresso distress ink. The olive green panel is embossed with the leaf pin dot cover die from Honey Bee.  Sentiment is from The Stamp Market. Lastly, the designer paper is from PTI.

Summer!

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is Anything goes!

I CASED this idea from echo park. They have a set of small dies that spells out summer using popsicles, and I thought it would be super fun to use Repeat Impressions popsicles in a similar way. Of course I had to add nuts and sprinkles into the mix. I masked off the popsicles and colored with Copic's. The small letter dies are from Tim Holtz Sizzix line.

There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built, and you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link up or win. Also, for my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar.

Just because - sketch challenge

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is the use the following card sketch graphic.

I used the flower bouquet that is a part of the contain yourself stamp line - 9706-U, Flowers. Colored with Copic's and then cut out using a circle die. I used up some of my bright pink striped designer paper to go with the colors in the flowers.

Happy Birthday - Fusion

Hello. Here is the new challenge over at Fusion! Play with the sketch, play with the photo or do both!

I used the flower dies from CASual Friday to create the flower spray. Cut them out of pink cardstock then added some highlights using Copic markers. Self adhesive pearls used in the center. Pink striped dp is from my stash. Used the same color pink cardstock as the flowers to cut a tiny strip to separate the white card base from the dp.

Please check out the Design Team’s creations for this challenge.

Thank you CTS#334

Hi there. Playing in the CAS(e) this sketch challenge #334 today.

The Thank you die is from Savvy stamps that I picked up at my local stamp store, which just happens to be Impress cards and crafts.  Flower stamps are from Stamplorations Dee's artsy impressions. Again, one of my all time favorite small flower sets. Fabrika Decoru used for the centers of the flowers. Fresh pigment ink from Impress used to stamp flowers and leaves. Pink polka dot paper is from PTI.

Have a wonderful day!

Congratulations!

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is the use the following sketch graphic.

I changed mine up a bit, as you can see, but kept it pretty close to the original sketch.  Used a lot of distress inks on the key panel to grunge it up a bit. I colored in the keys to make them a silhoette. Cork paper is used on the fishtail banner. I found some brushed aluminum looking designer paper and used that behind the keys. It kind of reminded me of a door plate and just maybe the key hole is behind it. Sentiment added to finish off the new house themed card.

Enjoy the sweet things in life!

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is the use the following graphic.

Used the two of the popscicle stamps from 9008-N, Cool Treats to make the back ground for this card. Sentiment is 9007-E, Sweet Things. I heat embossed all the popscicles so that I could color them up with Copic markers that matched the inspiration photo.

God Bless America

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week is our Designer Choice Challenge and Donna wants us to use Red, White and Blue.

I used a post it note to block out the star portion of the flag stamp, so that I could ink up the red stripes. Then reversed it to stamp the star portion. The stamp comes with the sentiment on the top and bottom of the flag, however, I did cut it apart to use all sections indepentetly (no pun intended). I had a heart that I had saved from another project that I used on this.  Came together quickly and I kept it fairly clean and simple for the July 4th Holiday.
