Just a note

Hello. I'm playing in the one-layer sketch challenge over at The Paper Players today. It's been ages since I've made a one-layer card.

I ink blended the circle using inks from Simon Says Stamp.  The butterfly is an old wood block stamp from Stamin Up!  The sentiment comes from The Ton, and I used a piercing die from Gina Marie Designs to add some interest around the perimeter of the card.

This card came together quickly. Thanks for stopping in.

Thank you

Hi all - decided to play in the Retro Rubber Tic-Tac-Toe challenge and the Allsorts challenge of Spring.

The butterfly is from Stampin Up! The year on the stamp says 2000. I stamped it in Versafine, heat embossed it, colored it with Copics, then fussy cut it out.

The embossing folder in the background is from Honey Bee Stamps. I used a small blending brush and ballet slippers ink from Pink Fresh to color the blossoms. Added small yellow rhinestones for the centers.

Sentiment is from My Favorite Things and the eucalyptus cardstock is from Concord & 9th.  I ended up using the center row down and the bottom row across on the TTT diagram below.

Thanks for stopping by.

Thank you

Hello - Playing in the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge over at The Paper Players today.

I used the middle row across.

The die is from Gina Marie Designs called cut in cut out daisy. I used yellow cardstock from Papertrey, Ink as a cardbase. Tim Holtz watercolor paper is used to cut out the thank you sentiment. I have NO idea who makes it either - I search high and low in order to find it and had no luck. So if you're seeing this and know who makes it, please let me know in the comments.

Fall thank you

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week our challenge is Thankful for fall. Use Autumn colors, thanks, Thanksgiving, etc.

I used the solid maple leaf stamp and rusty hinge distress ink to create the background on this. I smooched the ink pad onto my craft mat, spritzed with water, then picked that up with the stamp. This created a wonderful watercolor effect once I stamped onto the cream colored cardstock. Added a dot border using a die from Gina Marie Designs and then added the thank you and backed it with vellum. Die is from Simon Says Stamp.

There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built, and you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link up or win. Also, for my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar.

Happy Halloween

Hi there. Playing in this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #508 today.

I used the new Villainous Potion inks on this. I paired with with Kitsch Flamingo and shaded lilac. Also added some VP glaze into the nix too. The spider web is done using Unicorn ink from Hero Arts and a stencil. Deckled die is from Gina Marie Designs.

Halloween sentiment is from the former There she goes company and the bats are from Papertrey, Ink. The tiny spider is a brad (I cut off the ends and glued it on) and the bat is from DCWV. I cut him out three times and after stamping the sentiment and heat embossing it with detail white, I popped him up on an action wobbler. It turned out so cute!

Birthday wishes

Hello. After practicing for months and CASing one of my favorite watercolor artists (K. Lynne), I finally got one done that I think is worth sharing.

I used Inkon3 fade out ink with Tombow markers for the leaves and for the flowers I used aged mahogany distress ink. I watered it down a lot in order to get the soft colors that I admired in Kassi's creation which you can find here

Stamps are from Gina K Designs and the dot piercing die is from Gina Marie Designs.

Entering this into The Flower Challenge use your favorite flower (peonies) challenge.
