Have a wonderful day - TSOT#694

Hi and welcome back to another sketch challenge over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.

I went with a subtle take on the designer paper using a sky/cloud piece from the Craft Consortium.  The flower dies are from Gummiapan.  I used a bit of silver embossing powder around the holes in the flowers to give it a bit more dimension and interest.  Sentiment is from The Ton and the stitched cover die is from My Favorite Things.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday

Hello! I'm playing in the hand stamped sentiments challenge today.  It's an inspiration challenge from the graphic below.

The dies are from Stampin Up! I cut them out of silver cardstock and then used mushroom and turquoise alcohol inks to distress the gears.  The sentiment stamp is from Poppy stamps and the wonderful designer paper is from craft consortium.

Thanks for stopping by.

Congratulations

Hello. Playing in The Paper Players sketch challenge today. I did end up flipping the sketch.

The circle cut-out die is an oldie which I believe is from Simon Says Stamp.  The sentiment and inks used on the flower are from Simon.  The flower stamp and die are from Altenew.

The designer paper is from Craft Consortium and the self-adhesive black pearls are from Gina Marie Designs.

Thanks for stopping by.

Enjoy your special day - TSOT#648

Hello everyone. It’s time for a new sketch challenge over at Try A Sketch On Tuesdays.

The clouds are cut from a piece of designer paper from Craft Consortium. I've had the cloud and sun dies for so long that I have no idea who makes them, but do believe they are from MFT.  I'm awful at keeping track of who makes what die.  The sentiment is from MFT.

Here is the sketch for you to use as inspiration.

Thanks - SSC336

Hello and welcome to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  Here is what I made using the sketch.

I used the new Tim Holtz stencil and sky, dusk, and night pawsitively saturated inks from Simon Says Stamp to make the main focus. Topped it off with a die cut thanks. The right-hand side is cloud dsp from Craft Consortium Bloom and wild paperpack.  Navy satin ribbon used per the sketch, but a little lower on the card panel.

Thanks

Hi everyone. Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today. There are so many possibilities with this one and I kept it pretty clean and simple.

The branch is an old rubber wood block stamp from Memory Box. I used Tombow markers to color on the stamp and huffed to get a clean stamped image. The sentiment is from Hampton Arts and the dsp is from Craft Consortium.

Ok - the little bee is from Picket Fence and I used shrink plastic and a mini pancake maker to create it.  I've got to tell you that the $10.00 mini pancake maker (Walmart) is the EASIEST WAY EVER to use shrink plastic.  It's also the quickest in my honest opinion.

Examples of the bees are shown above. So many possibilities. There are a few YouTube videos on this using embossing powders (Marion from Wow is one) and you should check them out.

Sending joyful wishes

Hello.  Playing in a couple of challenges today.

I started off with this weeks Freshly Made Sketch. Designer paper is from Craft Consortium - grunge dark tones. Stamped the snowflakes (Tim Holtz) in Hero Arts unicorn white ink and then embossed it with pearl embossing powder. In real life it looks wonderful.

I cut out the silver snowflakes using foil that I recycled from a yogurt container. Sentiment is from Impress cards and crafts. I did pop it up using foam tape.

Indigo blue cardstock is from PTI and the card base is Neenah solar white. Envelope is stamped with the same snowflake stamp set in unicorn white ink.
