Hello and welcome to
another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.
Here is what I made using the inspiration color prompt photo. This one was a challenge for me as I don't have any of the plum colors in ink or cardstock/paper in my stash.
So, I made my own plum color using watercolors and decided to make this card a mixed-media one.
There are a lot of different stamps used on this one. However, the main die is from Memory Box. I also did a bit of stenciling using a stencil from TCW and Gina K Designs texture paste.
Stamps: Stampin Up! - gorgeous grunge, Darkroom door - Script and Crafters Companion sentiment. Inks: SSS orchid and Ranger distress archival in hickory smoke. Altenew jet black liquid ink for the splatters.

Hello
Hello
and Welcome to another Fusion Card Challenge, where you can use the sketch or
the photo or both. Here is what I did with it.
I went with the sketch on this Fusion challenge. I stamped a few background stamps randomly in versafine and heat embossed them in white. The plaid is from The Ton and the script is from Darkroom Door. To create the color wash, I used tumbled glass, speckled egg and antique linen and did a bit of smooching and layering until I was happy with the results. The plaid embossing folder from Spellbinders was used on the tag. The hello die is three layers thick so that it stands out a bit.
Please check out the
Design Team’s creations for this challenge, once again, they have knocked it
out of the park.

Colorful thanks
I made my own background using distress oxide inks in peacock feathers, wilted violet and cracked pisatchio. I also used some black soot to distress the leaf branch. Click on picture to enlarge and see all the detail.
I used the following stamps to create the background with versamark and clear embossing powder.
French script and corrugated iron from darkroom door
Fancy flourishes from Papertrey, Ink.
To seal everything up, I brushed on some clear glaze from Faber Castell. Thanks die is cut out three times in glossy black cardstock and stacked together.
The challenge over at Simon Says Stamp is to create your own background.

Take the time
Stamps are from The Darkroom Door. Coffee cup is stamped in versafine, heat embossed and then colored with Copic's. The background on this is done with the shaving cream technique. I have this stashed away in my background stash of unused card bits forever and finally got to use it.
Doily die is from Papertrey, Ink.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a caffeinated day!
