Thinking of you - TFC#102

Welcome back to another challenge over at The Flower Challenge.  Your cue card this round is to add spots or stripes.

I used the Swiss dot background stamp from Altenew.  The rose is a die from The Ton. I used Simon Says Stamp ink to color it.  The dragonfly stamp is from Impression Obsession, and the sentiment is also from Altenew.

Thinking of you - TSOT 654

Hello and welcome to another sketch challenge at Try a Sketch on Tuesdays.  Here is the card I made and the sketch for you to use.

The sentiment is from The Ton. I used a few dies from different companies to create the fall cluster. Impression Obsession, Lawn Fawn, Memory Box to name a few. The oval comes from Avery Elle's cover plate quilted die.

I used some distress inks to highlight the leaves and the scalloped border is cut from some burlap that I had in my stash.

Sketch

Yay, you did it!

Hello. Playing in the sketch challenge over at The Paper Players today.

The cute hiking boot die is from Impression Obsession. I used a Copic marker to color the body of the boot and added some red bakers twine as shoe laces.

The plaid designer paper is from Say it with stamps. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

This is for a friend who was finally able to get back on the hiking trails after a fall that broke her collarbone.

Also adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hearts

Hello. Playing in several challenges today.  I started off with this weeks Sunday Stamps sketch, paired it with the color challenge over at The Paper Players and then made two for the twofer challenge.

I used an older set from PrintWorks, which doesn't seem to be on their site any longer. The heart with the dot above it and the love is from the set.  That is white scrappers floss that is used to tie that bow. Stitched heart is from Paper Smooches and the bigger heart die is from MFT. I did use the heart 3D embossing folder on the white panel, you can see it on top but it's not all that clear at the bottom. Night shadows were really hard to edit out this evening.

The row of mini hearts is actually a die. I used a ruler to draw lines as a guide to get it straight. The die has 9 little hearts, so I had to cut it out four times. I did go rouge and left one white heart in on purpose. I have no idea who make this die, and I'm quite positive it's part of a bigger set.  The "thanks" is cut out three times, glued together and then I added a bit of shine to it. In real life it looks pretty cool!

Silhouette sympathy card

Hi everyone! I combined a few challenges today with this sympathy card. It's another sympathy card for the Just Us Girls word challenge.

Flower silhouette and sentiment are from My Favorite Things. The Dragonfly is from Impression Obsession that I've surgically altered.

I used jewel toned water colors to create the back ground based upon the Less Is More color challengeThe Friday Mashup! also wanted some color in the back ground to go with a silhouette. Done on both accounts.

I added three black rhinestones below the sentiment to add a bit of interest and dimension. The panel is cut out with the largest stitched rectangle die from MFT. I ended up layering it in black so that it would stand out a bit more on the white card base. It's also popped up with foam tape.

That's it for today. Off to finish the Cinderella chores. Thanks for stopping by!

Card Sketch #81 - What's Brewing?

Here's sketch #81 - sweet and simple! Normal A2 measurements.

I just recently picked up this stamp and sentiment at my LSS! I hadn't seen it before and thought it was way cool!

The image is colored in Copic Markers and I added a thin layer of Crystal Lacquer to give the cup a glass like look! The diamonds on the back ground layer are stamped in Colorbox pigment ink and then embossed with clear EP. I decided to unearth my corner rounder and went to town on this one! By the way, I used stamps from three different stamp companies to make this card. But they all just seem to go together, YKWIM?

I liked this sketch so much that I did another card using new TAC stamps. However, I think I'll hold off on posting that one until later.

Well, off to address some RAK's - my cards are piled up high and I need to get rid of some! Have a great week!

Supplies:
Stamps - latte cup from Impression Obsession, What's brewing? sentiment from A Muse, Diamonds from Penny Black's Salutations.
Paper - DCWV
Ink - Palette Noir, Colorbox canary pigment ink
Copic Markers in colors - C1, C3, E33, Y06, and B02
Crystal Lacquer
