Sending best wishes

Hello. Playing in the Just Us Girls stencil challenge today.

I created my own stencil using the postage die from Penny Black. Using a blending brush and tumbled glass distress oxide inks created a soft glow to frame up the flowers. Those are from studio light, the flower centers, leaves, and stems were colored with copics.  The sentiment is from The Ton and is popped up using foam tape.

The yellow gingham ribbon was unearthed from my ribbon stash and tied with the bow easy.

Also adding this into the tic-tac-toe challenge #250

Thanks for stopping by.

Yellow flowers

Hello. It's time for a new Try Stamping on Tuesday sketch challenge.

Flower stamps are from Concord and 9th. I used Hero arts inks to stamp them. Satin bow is tied with the bow easy. I haven't used the scalloped border die in forever, so it was nice to dust it off and use it on this.

Thanks for stopping in.

Birthday cheer

Hi everyone. Playing in The Paper Players tic-tac-toe challenge today.

Ribbon, spring flowers and a birthday day cheer thrown in.  Flowers and their dies are My Favorite Things, colored with Copic's. I used a grid background stamp and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder on the black for the panel in the back ground. Love the shine it gives this.

Joy

Hello! Happy Leap Day. Playing in the Addicted to CAS challenge today of Symmetry.

I used the wreath die from Echo Park and cut several out of lighter green cardstock. I stacked them up and blued them together for more dimension. Then I used my Copic markers to add darker shadows and depth. Finished it off with adding just a few "berries" using red self adhesive pearls. Tied the bow using the Bow Easy. Stamped the joy sentiment in red and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

One card down for my Christmas stash! Thanks for stopping by.

Just "Bee" cause - use a stencil challenge

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week it is my turn to decide what our challenge is for the Designer's Choice Challenge. I want everyone to use a stencil.

I used distress oxide ink in squeezed lemonade and a hexagon stencil. Added the scrappers floss behind the gingham bow for some added interest. Kept this clean and simple to highlight the use of the stencil in the background. Now it's your turn.....

Thinking of you

Hello-
It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged to follow the sketch below.

I designed this sketch and I have to tell you, I struggled with it. Too funny, Huh? I couldn't get anything to work with the mum's for some reason. Tried a lot of different stencils, designer papers, and finally just went with the debossed dots. Which now look like a golf ball to me, LOL.

So, what are you waiting for?!

Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!
Don’t forget… Take part in any of our challenges, the more you play along, the more chances you have to win! Each submission enters you in the drawing for our gift certificate. And you don’t always have to use our stamps in your creations, but we will reward you if you do. Each submission using a Repeat Impressions stamp will earn you an additional entry in the drawing!

Thinking of you

Hello. Playing in the sketch challenge over at The Paper Players today.

Oh my goodness, did this card give me fits. I really struggled with the top left corner fishtail banners. I tried so many things and they just were not working. Finally found something that looked half way decent, and went with it. I guess that's why they are "challenges," huh?

Stamps and paper are from Papertrey, Ink. Used the lattice embossing folder to emboss the banners, which are a die from My Favorite Things.

Thanks for stopping in, have a great day!

Treasure life's little moments

Hello. Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today.

Stamps are a retired set called treasure life from CTMH. I colored the flower stamp with Memento markers and spritzed it with water onto a piece of water color paper. I used my Nano stamp positioning tool to arrange the stamp differently each time.

Added a pink gingham bow (tied with the bow easy) to the center where the stems meet with a glue dot. I resisted adding any other embellishments to this and kept it clean and simple.

Thanks for stopping by.

Designers choice challenge - Glitter

Hello!

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged by Joy to use some Glitter. Here is what I did with it.

I first stamped the outline of the Christmas ball ornament (3814-K, Ornament Frame)and colored the hanger with a silver marker. Then I used some sticky glue on the snowflake stamp (8905-I, Snowflake Orb) and positioned it into center of the ornament and added some teal glitter. Luckily, I had a piece of ribbon that matched. Tied a bow using the Bow Easy tool and stuck it on with a glue dot.

We just lost one of our design team rock stars. Sniff.  Patti G had to step down for family matters and that left a position open for Ester to join us. Welcome Ester and please leave her some blog love, link below.

So, what are you waiting for?!

Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!
Don’t forget… Take part in one weekly challenge or all of them. The more you play along, the more chances you have to win! Each submission enters you in the drawing for our gift certificate. And you don’t always have to use our stamps in your creations, but we will reward you if you do. Each submission using a
Repeat Impressions stamp will earn you an additional entry in the drawing!
