Thanks - SSC340
Hello and welcome to
another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.
Here is what I made using the sketch.
The stamps are an old set from Simon Say Stamp and I used SSS pawitively saturated ink on them. The polka dot designer paper is from A Muse Studio and that cool picture frame die is from Art Impressions.

#caffeineplease
Hello! Second card today - this is another one for the Spring/Summer Coffee lovers blog hop.
Coffee cup stamps are from Art Impressions. The set is made to use for gift cards. The sentiment is from Planner Stamps and the "pull here" that I stamped on the tag is from Lawn Fawn.
Flowered cardstock is from Joann's Park lane brand and is paper pieced. Copic markers used to color the cup.

Blue bird of happiness
Hello. Taking part in two challenges today. TGIF challenge and Addicted to CAS.
I needed a bird and some wood. Here is what I came up with.
Buzzard and sentiment are from Art Impressions.
I stamped him in Versafine and heat embossed using clear embossing powder so that I could color with Copic's.
Used the wood embossing folder from Sizzix and added some die cut branches for him to roost on.
I just love the expression on his face!
Thanks for stopping by.

Anniversary
Hi everyone. Today is my 30th wedding anniversary. I was married on what would have been my grandparents 50th anniversary. I was also married in the same church as both my parents and grandparents. With that in mind, here is the card that I made for my DH. It's more tongue in cheek, than romantic but he'll get a kick out of it.
Stamp is from Art Impressions and colored with Copic's. I used the sentiment that came with the set for the inside which says.....Still got it!
I also just realized that I've been blogging for 10 years. Wow!

This is a picture from 1963 of my grandparents on my Mom's side. It sort of inspired me to purchase the stamp above. Hope their having fun celebrating their 80th in heaven!
Thanks for stopping by!

and lastly, a very old picture of me and my DH.

Binoculars
Hi all! Just saw the challenge posted at the Friday Mashup and had to play along. I went with the hunting theme.
I've had this stamp from AI for a number of years and I think I've only used it twice. It also comes with a back stamp that shows a gun and his fabulous backside. (giggling)
I just crack up every time I see him because he reminds me of so many men I know.
Colored with Copic's and also added some glossy accents to the binoculars. Ran a piece of kraft cardstock through the wood grain embossing folder from Sizzix and then highlight it with some kraft dye ink from PTI.
I sorta combined the two colors of wild wasabi and Marine into the teal of his plaid shirt. But got the espresso in, no problem.

I'm just resting my eyes
Hello everyone! Practicing my Copic coloring on this fun image! If your wondering why I named my post "I'm just resting my eyes" that is what my DH says every time I catch him snoring in his recliner. Which is why I bought this fun image!!! He's gonna get a kick out of this card!
The stamp is from Art Impressions, stamped in Versafine and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. As many of you know, I dislike Memento ink due it not giving a sharp black image! But that is my personal opinion and I found a way around it. I did end up fussy cutting this one out because I had this idea.....this would look good sitting on a rug!!
The "rug" is made out of kraft cardstock, cut out using an oval die and then embossing it with the lattice embossing folder. I then distressed it using vintage photo distress ink and finally taking a pair of stork embroidery scissors and giving it a bit of fringe. What do you think? Does it look like a rug? I'm still a little unsure.

Card Sketch Tuesday #156
Happy Tuesday! Here is sketch #156, which measures the normal A2 size.

Measurements are as follows:
Card base = 4.25 x 5.5
Inside panel = 4 x 5.25
Bottom panel = 4 x 2.75
Ribbon panel = 4 x 1.5 (including the 1/16 border)
Image panel = 2.75 x 2.25 (part is hidden under the bottom panel)

This is actually my second card from this sketch. I did a snowman one earlier (you will see it around the 5th of December) and loved how it turned out and had to do it again.
The designer paper is from Making Memories called Greenhouse, which includes all the paper you see on the card except for the white cardstock.
The milk can stamp is from Art Impressions and is colored with Copic Ciao Markers. The get well greeting is from Papertrey, Ink. Ribbon is white twill tied onto the panel prior to adhering.
For those of you who do such a super job of leaving me comments on a consistent basis - Thank You! I do have to let you know that I had to reinstate comment moderation due to some robot postings recently. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
