I pledge - TTT challenge

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged to use the following Tic-Tac-Toe board to create with.

Can you believe it? I actually did a fun fold! To get the colors on this stamp I had to use a sponge dauber, so I took a little liberties (no pun intended) on the grid. Designer paper is from Lasting Impressions.

So, what are you waiting for?!

Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!

Caffeine is the new black

Hello. Playing in the CAS-ual Fridays challenge of More coffee please. I used a stamp set I won from the last coffee lovers blog hop. It's from Planner Stamps.

That wonderful green polka dot designer paper is from lasting impressions. It's called lamppost limeade dots. I used a stitched fishtail banner die from MFT to cut it out. Then I paired it with a piece of limeade cardstock.

Kept this pretty clean and simple, but colorful. Thanks for stopping in!

Anything goes - get well

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged with Anything goes.
I used one of the jars and only one of the flowers in the bouquet that is found on plate #9700. I just used a copic friendly black marker directly on the stamp. Long rectangle dies from Spellbinder used to frame it up and I also used the scalloped dies that match the set.  Pink and white polka dot designer paper is from lasting impressions. I cut it to 4 x 5.25 and backed it with some fun foam so that it would add some dimension to the card.  This turned out to be a bit of a girlie get well card, but I love the colors.

So, what are you waiting for?!

Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!
Don’t forget… Take part in one weekly challenge or all of them. The more you play along, the more chances you have to win! Each submission enters you in the drawing for our gift certificate. Sending my sympathies

Hello. I hope everyone is doing well. Here is my take on several challenges today.

I've had the bloom colored up and sitting in my "to make" box for a while now. It went perfect with the sketch challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  Stamp is from Altenew. Added some sparkle to it with the clear spectrum sparkle pen.

Sentiment and the small polka dot stamps are from Papertrey, Ink.  Used Fresh pigment ink in pink lemonade to go with the ink in the flower. The designer pink posy dot paper is from Lasting Impressions that I've been hoarding. I just cut up the 8 x 11.5 sheet and used it on a card previously, so this one was ready and waiting. Navy cardstock used as the base card and to layer.

The dew drops are from Katscrappiness, which I bought in a mixed sized package. Link to her shop is on my side bar.

Here are the challenges I'm entering this into.

Challenges:
Sunday Stamps - sketch
Simon Says Stamp - going dotty
TGIF Challenges - with deepest sympathy
Addicted to CAS - Pink

Thanks for stopping by.

Pink cupcake

Hi everyone! Here is my take on this week's Freshly Made Sketch which I also paired with The Card Concept #31 challenge.

Cupcake stamp and die is from Verve. I colored it with Copic's and then added some cotton candy stickles to jazz it up a bit. It's also popped up using foam tape. I hardly ever use my stickles, and it finally dawned on my why. I don't have any patience to let them dry.

The circle and banner die is from My Favorite Things, which is now discontinued, I believe. Sentiment is from Tim Holtz.

The pink designer paper is from Lasting Memories. I added the perforated holes down both sides of the white cardstock to give this a bit more dimension. However, decided to keep this one clean and simple and stopped there!

That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by.

love you

Hi everyone! I just got back from a business trip and wouldn't you know it, I came down with the crud that is currently being passed around! Haven't felt like doing much but sleeping this gunk off! However, did manage to get a clean and simple card made up using this weeks sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

Also paired it with the current Wednesday challenge over at Simon Say Stamp, have a heart.

Red cardstock is from Lasting Impressions. I paired it with the nice red and white polka dot designer paper from Bazzill. As I'm typing this I see that the Y of the you cut off one of the white polka dots and it's driving me nuts! I should have added an additional one to even things out.

The "love" is a stamp from Winnie and Walter. I ended up heat embossing this with clear embossing powder to give it a little texture. The "You," tag and heart dies are all from Simon Says Stamp.

Added some different sized black pearls in the lower left hand corner to balance things out.

That's it for now! Back to the Kleenex box and sofa!  Thanks for stopping by!
ETA: adding this to Word Art Wednesday.
