Thinking of you

Hello. I'm playing in the Freshly Made Sketch #717 today. I've had this panel sitting in my stash for a while and put it to use on this sketch.

I blended distress inks onto the panel using antique linen and speckled egg oxide inks. The background script stamp is from Amazon and I stamped it in hickory smoke archival ink.   Next I added the scroll stencil from TH onto the panel with embossing paste.

Blended out another panel using speckled egg so that I could use it for the small right-hand strip. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things and I used the same hickory smoke ink on it. Cut it out with a die and popped it up with foam tape. I love how soft this turned out.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh. my. goodness. Laurie, your panel is absolutely stunning - love your color choices and its beautiful simplicity... now I'm going in for a closer look at that script. Thanks so much for 'saving' your panel for FMS - looks like it was meant to be!
