Friends

Hello. Playing in a few challenges today.

Kept this clean and simple and real quick.

Gelatos used to make the rainbow. I scribbled some color onto another piece of water color paper and then picked up the color to paint. Drawing directly onto the paper left too much gelato on the paper and it didn't blend well.

Used a punch to create the decorative ends on the banner.

Thanks for stopping in.

Color week #389 at Just us Girls

Hi everyone. It's a color challenge this week over at Just Us Girls, and I'm still guest designing for it...so here is my take.

I had to dig around to find some peach ink, luckily I had a mini cube from Hero Arts. The pink and green ink is also from HA but from the Kelly P line. I used Butter from Lawn Fawn for the lemon. It's pretty close, huh?

Flower and leaf stamps are from Stamplorations. These stamps are designed by Dee's artsy impressions. Love this little set and I've used it in so many ways.

Die is from Pretty Pink Posh. After cutting it, I used some foam tape to pop it off of the white card base. Sentiment is from Avery Elle.

It's your birthday

Hello.  Playing with the sketch over at CAS(e) this sketch.

Stamps are from Gerda Steiner Designs. I stamped them using versafine ink, heat embossed with clear embossing powder and then colored with Copic's. I also bought the coordinating die set that goes with and used it to cut a few out.

I popped the middle three Giraffe's up using tiny foam squares and mounted them at different heights.

For the sentiment, I used a piece of post it note tape to cover up the "go wild" so that I could just stamp the top of words. Then reversed that to stamp the inside.

Colored a tiny piece of white satin ribbon the same color as the Giraffes using the Copic marker. This enabled me to hide the seam between them and the sentiment. Card base is a dark brown.

April Tic-Tac-Toe challenge

Hello. It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged to use the Tic-Tac-Toe grid below.

Here is what I did with it.

Daffodil's are paper pieced using some really cute yellow gingham paper. I added the clear drops using Fabrika Decoru (you can see the whole line up of these at Katscrappiness - link on side bar).

So, what are you waiting for?!

Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!
Don’t forget… Take part in one weekly challenge or all of them. The more you play along, the more chances you have to win! Each submission enters you in the drawing for our gift certificate. And you don’t always have to use our stamps in your creations, but we will reward you if you do. Each submission using a
Repeat Impressions stamp will earn you an additional entry in the drawing!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by.

One layer card

Hello. Playing in the Less is More one layer challenge, with a curve.

Kept this super CAS and had fun playing with the Broken China Oxide distress ink.

I cut a curve using a border die and used that as my template to sponge on the distress ink.

Sentiment is from My Sentiments Exactly.

Hello

Hi everyone. It's time for another challenge over at Just Us Girls. This week is trend week and we are looking for Multi-step stamping.

Flower layering stamps are from WPlus9 and the hello sentiment is from Winnie & Walter.

I used Fresh pigment inks in Spun Sugar, pink lemonade and butter for each flower. Outline stamped in Versafine, as is the sentiment. I dusted off my small scalloped border die and used it to frame the pink panel in the back ground.

Surely everyone now has perfected this technique with all the really cool stamps that are now available. Why not whip something up and join us this week?

Turn that frown....

Hello. Playing in the Addicted to CAS code word challenge of "smile" today.

Stamps are from Avery Elle.

Stamped in Versafine and heat embossed so that I could color them with Copic's.

Added some glossy accents to the eyes so that they would stand out.

I really like this fun little set of stamps, lots of possibilities.
