Hey!
Hello! I'm back on the Gerda Steiner blog with a creative take on a new stamp set that will be released soon. It's called Skyline. I used the road as wood in the background to create this birthday card.

Have a fun and spooky Halloween
Hello everyone,
Here is the last card that I designed using the new stamp set called Halloween Ghosts. This is such a cute set with so many possibilities for a lot of cute cards and Halloween projects.
I kept this card very clean and simple. I stamped the ghost in versafine ink then heat embossed it so that I could color it with Copic markers. I then highlighted the glasses with glossy accents.
I found a piece of cardstock that matched the color I used on the glasses to stamp the sentiment. A square die was used to cut out the image and then I layered everything in black. As you can see by the shadow, I did use foam tape behind the ghost to give it some dimension.

Trick-or-Treat
Hello again! It's Laurie sharing another cute ghost from the NEW Halloween ghost stamp set.
I did a fun little corner fold on a piece of Kelly Panacci Halloween mat pad from K&Company. I found a piece of cardstock in my stash that closely match the skeleton paper and colored the ghost using Copic markers.
I had this string of bat ribbon in my stash, so I cut one off and stuck it to the trick-or-treat sentiment tag. The spider is a brad that I picked up at my local stamp store ages ago.
I have one last card to share next week - stay tuned!

EEK!
Hi everyone. It's Laurie back with another Halloween ghost card.
I stamped the ghost in Versafine ink and heat embossed it so that I could color it with Copic's. I have had the designer paper in my Halloween stash of paper forever, so it was fun to put it to use on this card. It came from a Tim Coffey Halloween pack of paper put out by K&Company.
I used a few stitched dies to cut the ghost out and the fishtail banner. Layered it onto a black background and adhered everything onto a purple card base.
Stayed tuned for next Thursday as I have another creation made with this stamp set.

Group photo
Hello, it's Laurie again and welcome back to another card for the new Halloween Ghost stamp set that will be released soon. I call this one, Group Photo.
I did a lot of masking for this one. I used intense black ink from Honey Bee stamps to stamp them all out, which is a Copic friendly ink. Then spent some time coloring them all out. I did add some goofy/scary bloodshot marks to the ghost holding the sign with a red gel pen. All of the eyes are highlighted with glossy accents. So in real life they a super shiny, but it never shows well in photos.
I will be back next soon with another card to showcase this fun new set.
Thanks!

Boo
Hello - I am thrilled to be asked to design a few cards for Gerda Steiner Designs. I'm delighted to introduce you to a new die that will be available over at Gerda Steiner Designs soon. I did something a little bit different with it and inlaid it after embossing the card front with several of the die cuts. The designer paper is from Die Cuts With a View.
I hope you are inspired to get this super cute stamp set and design a few cards for your friends and family. They also can be used on treat bags or Halloween decor.
Stayed tuned for more Halloween goodness later this month with a new stamp set to be released soon.

I just love this little hippo! Colored with Copic's. The sentiment is from The Paper Studio stamps that you can pick up at Hobby Lobby.
Added a few heart sequins to match the one on his it's shirt. Thanks for stopping by and stay safe!

Christmas cards sent, but not posted

It's a jungle in here!
Stamps are from Gerda Steiner Designs and they are colored with Copic's. The sentiment is from the former Angel Company. Palm die is from My Favorite Things. I tucked the thin burlap ribbon under that cute elephant to resemble the ground he is standing on. But my favorite is that giraffe peaking out of the corner.
I 'm also linking this up with the Double D challenge: it's a jungle out there and Simon Says Stamp; add a die cut.
Thanks for stopping by.

It's your birthday
Stamps are from Gerda Steiner Designs. I stamped them using versafine ink, heat embossed with clear embossing powder and then colored with Copic's. I also bought the coordinating die set that goes with and used it to cut a few out.
I popped the middle three Giraffe's up using tiny foam squares and mounted them at different heights.
For the sentiment, I used a piece of post it note tape to cover up the "go wild" so that I could just stamp the top of words. Then reversed that to stamp the inside.
Colored a tiny piece of white satin ribbon the same color as the Giraffes using the Copic marker. This enabled me to hide the seam between them and the sentiment. Card base is a dark brown.
Thanks for stopping by!
