Smile

Hello all - here is another sketch challenge that I paired with an inspiration challenge and came up with this.

I was inspired by the photo below for Just us girls. I liked the red gingham picnic table cloth that is stuck in the galvanized bucket.  With the watermelon sticking out it reminded me of all the ants that come with it. Ha Ha.

Ant stamp is from rubber stampede. I did color in the ants using the black Copic marker so that they would show up. The sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink and the red grunge gingham stamp is from My Favorite Things. Sketch is from The Paper Players.

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by.

You

Hi everyone! I think spring is here as we have gotten nothing but rain this past week. You know it's been a mild winter when you see the daffodils sprouting up and rhodies blooming. So that brought to mind that we will soon be seeing butterflies!

This weeks Freshly Made Sketch was used to make this card and one of the tag dies from Papertrey, Ink was the center point instead of a heart.

The small butterfly stamp is an old one from rubber stampede. I stamped it in MFT Hybrid black ink then colored it with Copics.

Used a dot border die to create the dots on top and bottom of the blue cardstock. I cannot remember who makes this die. But I liked that it went with the dots around the scalloped outline of the center of the tag.

White scrappers floss used behind the tag and to tie the bow to hold together the grosgrain ribbon.  Butterfly charm has been in my stash for a while now and decided to use it on the card to continue with the theme!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is all things bright and beautiful and I think the butterfly fits the bill!  Also adding this into the Tag You're It Challenge
