Tic Tac Toe challenge

Hi everyone. Time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. We were challenge to use the graphic below to create our card. Here is what I did with it.

I used the pine branch and added some snow to it using flower soft (remember that stuff?).  Then I cut it out using a stitched die and added some green buttons.  The corrugated cardstock is from DCWV.

This was a super fun challenge! So why not join in?

Play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!
Don’t forget… Take part in one weekly challenge or all of them. The more you play along, the more chances you have to win! Each submission enters you in the drawing for our gift certificate. And you don’t always have to use our stamps in your creations, but we will reward you if you do. Each submission using a
Repeat Impressions stamp will earn you an additional entry in the drawing!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.

See you soon!

Eyes

Hi everyone. I finally got my latest stamps from SSS and tore into them to play. Here's what I came up with.

I started with the current sketch over at Freshly Made sketches.

Designer paper is from American Crafts. Stamps are from Clearly Besotted and colored with Copic's.

The cool self adhesive googly eyes are from Doodlebug Designs that I picked up at my LSS. They come in many different colors and sizes. So fun!

OK, back to playing with the new goodies. More later.

Watercolored Pumpkins

Hi all. I got a chance (between loads of laundry) to make this card for two challenges today.  The Paper Players theme is Halloween and Addicted to CAS is watercolor. Here is what I did with them.

The pumpkin stamp is a very old one from Inkadinkado. I stamped it on watercolor paper, heat embossed it then painted then with my Zig real brush markers.

Sentiment is from the former There She Goes stamp company.

Designer paper is from American Crafts.

Back to work I must get - thanks for stopping in.

Batty

Hello. I was able to put together a card using this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

The word search designer paper is from American Crafts. I like it because the happy Halloween stands out in the orange color at the bottom.

The bats in the moon is an old stamp from the former Angel Company that I colored with Copic's and fussy cut out.

The panel right behind it is done using border stamps from Waffle Flower.

This card is very outside my normal MO, but thought I'd do something different for a change. Thanks for stopping by and I'd really appreciate some feedback on this - as it kind of drove me batty - pun intended!

Feeling icky?

Hello. Here is my take on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch. I just got this set from Technique Tuesday and had to ink it up.

These little monsters crack me up and are so versatile.

Tag is a die that I cut out using Neenah Solar White cardstock. Stamped the monster in SSS intense black ink so that I could color with Copic's.  Sentiment is included in the stamp set.

The starburst in the back is cut out using a die from Papetrei, Ink in lime green. The splatter stamp is from Stampin Up! and works well since the little guys has a few spots on it's body too.

Green candy dots are from American Crafts.  Colored a piece of white satin ribbon with the same Copic marker that I used on the monster and tied it off with some black scrappers floss. Done!

That's it for today, thanks for stopping by.

Flower shaker card

Hello again. I'm back with a shaker card for the Just Us Girls challenge and I've paired it with the color challenge over at My Favorite Things.

I picked up this cute flower stamp at Ben Franklin's the other day, it was all of $1.49 and made by Imaginisce or American Crafts. Anyway, I stamped it up a couple of times and colored it with some Copic's to match the color challenge. Then I fussy cut them out.

I used the circle stitched die from Lawn Fawn to outline the circle I created to add my shaker stuff to. I just got some of those cool little beads from Queen & Co. and stuck them in there with some tiny seed beads and sequins. Of course I had to spill the sequins all over the place while doing this! UGH!

Sentiment is from My Favorite Things and the grape vine swirl die is from Memory Box.

Thanks for stopping by!
