Belated birthday wishes

Hi everyone! I'm participating in the Sweet Sunday Sketch #259 where you get to pick any previous sketch to use this week. Kind of cool to get so many choices to pick from. I chose #229.

I had a heck of a time getting the sketches to copy over to upload so you could see. I'm just not that familiar with flicker, sorry. But here is the link.

I've had this pink polka dot designer paper for years. It's in a binder clip now as the clover is long gone, so I have no idea who makes it.

Stamps are from Avery Elle. You can see the particulars on the post below. 

My Favorite things blue prints #21 was used for the designer paper, the sentiment panel and the banner across the top. I did color the white cardstock using the moss Copic marker to match the green ink I used in the leaves.

Birthday sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink.

Hi everyone! Here is my take on this weeks Less is More challenge. We are to use yellow and green this time around. Flowers anyone?

Dies and flowers stamps are from Avery Elle called Petals and Stems. I used Fresh Ink from Impress Rubber Stamps in Mojito Green and Chamomile to stamp the flowers and leaves and then cut them out using the coordinating dies. 

The banner die is also from Avery Elle called just a note. I cut two and then popped them up using tiny foam squares along the corners and cut to fit using a craft knife.

The "hello" sentiment is from Winnie & Walter and is stamped in the same Mojito green.

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been absent these last few days, my computer caught a few viruses and needed to go to the Geek Squad for cleaning.

Here's my take on this weeks freshly made sketch.  I kept it an A2 card so that I could use this cool border die by Pretty Pink Posh.

Stamps are from Simon Says Stamp as is the dies
to cut the flowers out.

Pink organza ribbon used along the top and the Bow Easy was used to tie the bow. I attached it with a glue dot. 

Flowers are popped up using foam tape of various sizes to get a bit more dimension.

I'm also adding this into the Simon Says Stamps Wednesday challenge. This time around it's special lady/girly. This turned out very girly!

Happy everything

Hello! Here is my take on this weeks theme challenge over at Less is more. We were to make something that makes us happy. For me it's that spring is starting to show up. We've had some very unusually warm weather here in the Pacific Northwest and there are flowers and trees blooming everywhere. It brings such a promise of hope. This makes me happy!

Tulip stamp is from My Favorite Things and colored with Copic's.

Tag die and the sentiment are from Papertrey, Ink.  I layered it with my mini perfect layers using the 1/16 ruled edge so that the dots that were embossed while cutting out the tag stood out.

Dug out some red gingham ribbon to tie at the top and then used foam tape to pop it up off of the card base. Pretty clean and simple.

Thinking of you

Hi everyone! I had some time last night to make this quick clean and simple card for the challenge over at CAS.ology. Cue card is mini.

I have to apologize for the darkness of the photo. It's a bit gray and drab this morning and I couldn't get my light source to cooperate.

I have so many dragonfly stamps that I've lost track of who makes this one. I stamped it twice using Versafine ink. Thinking of you sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps.  ETA: dragonfly stamp is from Impression Obsession that I surgically cut apart from its other mates. There is three of them grouped together. 

I cut this out using a die from my stash and then layered it with black using the 1/16 mark on my perfect layers ruler. If you don't have these, get them! They make layering so much easier and quicker!

Lastly, to add a bit of interest I took my stylus and scored around the edges.

Floral birthday

Hi everyone! Had some time in between chores and the Oscars yesterday to make this card based on the sketch from The Paper Players.

Flower die is from Simon Says Stamp. I cut it out of white cardstock about four times and layer one on top of another. Then got out the Copic's to color it.

Stitched dies are from Lil' Inkers, Designs. The burlap embossing folder is used on the circle cut out and it's from Taylored Espressions.

Stitched banner is from My Favorite Things as is the sentiment.

I used the Bow easy to tie that tiny bow that I attached onto the stem of the flower.

We are like butterflies

Hello! Here is my take on Less is More theme challenge this week and that is Wings. It's rather clean and simple and took no time to make.

Actually, it took more time to peal off the Stick it! adhesive on the back of the black outline than anything else.

Butterfly die is from Memory Box and is cut out using basic black cardstock and yellow/orange marble cardstock.  I used one of kool tack's clear square foam pieces to raise the butterfly up so that it appears to by flying.

The dot outline die is from My Favorite Things. I popped it up onto a white card base using some foam tape for dimension.

Sentiment is from the former Angel Company.
