Hello

Hello all! The cue card over at CASology is Hot. Searched around a bit in my stamps and digi's and finally came up with this!

Digi is from Saturated Canary and colored with Copic's.

Large stitched die is from Lil' Inker Designs and the small tag is from Simon Says Stamp. The "hello" is an old stamp from the former Angel Company.

Blueberry cardstock is from PTI and the burlap is from DCWV.

I wish I had a nickle for every camping trip I've taken over the years that we roasted marshmallows and/or made S'Mores. We finally got smart and bought roasting sticks, but I think half the fun was finding a stick and whittling it down to work "just right!"

Thanks for stopping by!

I don't know

Hello all! Here's a card I put together after practicing coloring with Copic's.

I don't know why I chose the colors I did for her dress. I think this might have been colored around St. Patrick's day. It's been in my stash for a while.

Top note die used on the back ground after I fussy cut her out. She is from Saturated Canary.

Polka dot designer paper is from PTI.

Anyone know of any challenges this one might fit under?

OK, I'll keep it short and sweet today! Thanks for stopping in!

Happy St. Patricks Day

Hi everyone! Quick post to say Happy St. Pat's and show off a Saturated Canary digi.

She's colored with Copic's.

I also took the same green marker and colored a piece of white satin ribbon to make the ribbon accents on the side. Grass Green pearls from Queen & Co add a little more bling.

Designer paper is from my scrap pile and I think it's from Paper Pizazz.

Have a great day and I'm off to drink some green beer.

BDU - thanks

Hi everyone! Wow, what a week so far and thank goodness it's almost over! I wanted to share a card inspired by the military with you today.

I saw this image over at Saturated Canary and fell in love with her. She is colored with Copic's and I attempted to make her pants camouflage or close to it using rubbing alcohol and a blender pen. It came out pretty close.

The back ground is done using a piece of canvas and alcohol inks. I used willow and latte to get as close to the color of BDU's as possible. Now, you're probably wondering what BDU stands for, right? Well, when I first met my DH he was in the Army and he taught me that it is an acronym for Battle Dress Uniform.

This is to thank all the women of our armed forces who are serving our country!  You're awesome!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful creative day!

Christmas pixie

Hi everyone! Can you believe it's December already? Oh my goodness, where did this year go? I'm sharing a cute little pixie for the Christmas season that was really fun to color!

It's a digi from Saturated Canary by Krista Smith and colored with Copic's.

The designer paper is from my Christmas stash and I have no idea who it came from. Green cardstock is from Bazzill.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi everyone! Here's my take on the CAS(e) this sketch challenge this week!

Image is a digi from Saturated Canary by Krista Smith. Printed on X-press it paper and colored with Copic markers.

Designer paper is from the Winter Magic matstack from DCWV. The pink ribbon (seam binding) and bow were tinted pink using Distress dye inks.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Skating

Greetings everyone! I sat down to color over the weekend to relax a bit and this is what I ended up creating!

Copic markers used on this Saturated Canary digi image by Krista Smith. What fun this was to color! I printed this on X-press it paper and let it sit overnight for the ink to completely dry before coloring.

Sentiment is from Savvy stamps. Designer paper is from K&Company.

Thanks for stopping by!

Shabby chic steampunk

Hi everyone! The weekend sure went fast, didn't it? Here is one of the cards that I managed to finish though!

Image is a digi from Saturated Canary and colored with Copic's.

The pink designer paper is from DCWV and the blue came from Authentique. Blue self adhesive pearls are from Kasiercraft.

I used the same color of Copic marker as I used in her dress to color up the seam binding. Once dry I gathered it up to look like pleats and secured it behind the image. I used a long rectangle nestie to cut the digi image and then layered it with dark blue cardstock.

That's it for today! Thank for stopping in!
