Mini Memories book

Hey all! Here's a mini memory book I created out of chipboard.

I covered two 4 x 4 square chipboard pieces in card stock that matches the Amberley Grace Soar With It paper from The Angel Company. The turquoise ribbon was added between the papers prior to gluing things in place. I added a band of the Amberley Grace paper and a tag out of the paper pack to the front of the book. Then embellished with flowers and buttons from the Hilary and Audrey collections. This is the Noteworthy collections made by Making Memories that TAC carries. The sentiment is from the Creative Inspiration set that can be found in the Serendipity magalogue.

I cut eight 3 x 3 ivory card stock pieces up and rounded the corners and inserted them into the mini book for embellishing later.

This is just the right size little brag book to keep in your purse for showing off pictures of your family.

Have an awesome weekend!

Post it notes!

Here's a little cover I created to cover up some post it notes.

I started with some heavy weight scrap chipboard, which I cut about 1/4 inch bigger than a package of post it notes. I used a glue stick to adhere the paper to the chipboard and then rolled over it with my brayer to make sure that it stuck. I used a tag to stamp the "just a note" sentiment and layered it with coordinating card stock. I stamped a few flowers in matching chalk ink, added a white dot to the center of the flower with a gel pen, and finished with matching ribbon.

I lined the inside with paper from the same paper pack to give it a finished look. Stamped more of the flowers on the inside and the post it note papers. Finally binding everything together with the "Bind it all".

I was very please with how this turned out and plan to make a few more in the future. Have a great weekend!

Perpetual Calendar

Hi all! Here's another quick gift to make for someone on your list. There is this thread over on SCS about all the items that people are making for Christmas and found this one on post #51. I made this for my Dad and step mom since they now have so many more dates to remember. So, get out you BIA and whip up a few of these for last minute gifts.

I kept things simple and just added a computer generated title and a monogram. This measures 4 1/4 by 11 and the calendars print up two to a page - just cut down the middle! How easy is that?
I did nothing to the inside lists, just printed them up on card stock from my printer. I used some heavy chipboard to make the covers and covered with designer paper. Nestabilities were used to cut out the rectangles and circles.
This went together in about a half hour - but then again I kept it very clean and simple. My step mom is not one of those girlie girls - less is more for her.

So, head on over to SCS and be prepared to get some great ideas from that thread! Have a great weekend!

Supplies:
Chipboard

Paper - DCWV luxury stack

Opening the door to abundance

This chipboard piece has been sitting on my desk now for over two weeks, waiting for me to dream up some inspiration for it. You see, it's was a blank chipboard tag and frame that were together, but meant to be separated and used individually. Well, to me together looked better, almost like a Victorian doorway. So, out came the TAC paper, the hip hardware and abundance is stamp sets. I covered the chipboard with paper from Rustic Chic and distressed the edges with Stazon black ink. I then stamped out the hinge from hip hardware onto chipboard and cut them out. I attached them onto the door using black brads. I added a third brad for the door knob, which is very loose, so that you can actually grab it to open. I then stamped the inside saying in cranberry ink from Colorbox and adhered the white CS to the back of the door. I then added the rest of the card stock to finish up the card.
