Hi everyone! I liked the sketch from
Sweet Sunday that came through yesterday and decided to give it a try. I even broke out of my clean and simple comfort zone and played around with some designer paper for a change.

I reached in the way back of my cupboard and pulled out the vintage shabby from Tim Holtz! I had the pink flower from Kaisercraft that I was bound and determined to use on this sketch and needed paper to match. Layered everything in shades of gray.

The thanks is a die that I picked up from Savvy stamps. I cut it out using dark gray cardstock from American Crafts. The green vine is a die from Memory Box and finally the white candy dots are from Doodlebug.
As I sit here and type this I realize that there is no stamping on this card. Huh! I guess I truly broke out of my comfort zone on this one!
Thanks for stopping by!

Beautifully done, Laurie! Sounds like a great challenge - I do love the sketch! Good luck, hope you win :)
Love the gorgeous paper you used for this beautiful card!
Absolutely gorgeous!
I know, isn't it weird when you realize you've made a card - and a card you even like - without a bit of stamping?! This is fantastic, Laurie, and I can use this as inspiration. I have so much beautiful DSP and struggle with ways to use it up, so thank you!! Hugs, Darnell
