Hello. I'm playing in The Paper Players #PP800 sketch today. What a huge milestone!
The designer paper for this comes from Moda Scrap. I used the square blanket die from Pink Fresh Studio to cut the flower dsp out. The stripes within the pack worked well for the strip called out in the sketch. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things.
The dragonfly is cut out using the matte black cardstock from Tim Holtz. I love how rich and deep that black is. The blue cardstock behind the white panel is from Altenew.
Thanks for stopping by. Below is the sketch.

Beautiful in blue, Laurie! The floral paper is so delicate and feminine. The blanket edge adds texture and is a wonderful detail. This pattern pairs so nicely with the stripes. You could not have picked a better focal point than the black die cut dragonfly. I LOVE dragonflies and this is one of the best I have seen. Thank you so much for playing in our 800th challenge at The Paper Players!
Stunning card, like your take on the sketch!
Very pretty! I like the soft and delicate blues and the stitched edge detailing around the paper. It makes a nice contrast with the dragonfly, which is bold despite the delicacy of the die cut. And - I love the font of the sentiment. Thanks for sharing with us at The Paper Players for our 800th Challenge.
