I been so busy these past three days - The Angel Company has an open design call for the Spring/Summer catty and I've been scrambling to get my submissions ready to mail out today.
So in between all the card making frenzy, my DH asked me a huge favor! He has recently tied his first Fly (he's an avid fly fisherman) and has gotten involved in the hobby! He wanted me to make a frame so that he can show off his first fly - well second actually, the first one fell apart! LOL!!!
So, this is what I came up with late last night.
I found this paper at my LSS and have had it stashed for a while. I intended to use it for a scrapbook page, but this just begged me to cut into it. I started with Budweiser bar coasters, cut a rectangle (nestabilities - ran thru three times, then cut with craft knife) and covered with paper and glue stick. Using a small square punch, I punched out the self adhesive cork and added it to the back. This allows the fly something to hook into - ha ha ha - no pun intended.
I'll have a card sketch posted later on! Take care!!!
