Hi everyone! I just got done participating in the SCS sketch challenge again! Can you tell I'm addicted to sketches? I just really enjoy the challenge of creating something from a diagram and mixing it up a bit to fit the stamp image! Anyway......
Here's this weeks sketch results, which worked really well for this stamp I just got. I had already completed one card and mailed it off for someone's birthday.
The geranium is colored with Copic Ciao markers. The green houndstooth designer paper is from Making Memories. I layered it with pure poppy card stock, and added the red grosgrain ribbon, bow and button.
This next one is the first card I produced and mailed off.
No extra designer paper, just layered with pure poppy and the ribbon, bow and buttons are bigger. I'm liking this one the best, because its clean and simple looking - more classy.
This stamp is from Serendipity stamps, and they have just released their summer line. You can find them here.
This stamp reminded me of growing up - Both my Grandma and Mom always had geraniums in their flower boxes on the front porch. I've never been very fond of this flower, but it brought back some happier memories when they were both still alive. They also always had to be Martha Washington Geraniums, too. Funny what we remember and treasure, huh? So, that's my story on how I came to own this stamp.
Thanks for visiting! Have a wonderful day!
