Hello

I hope everyone one is having a super weekend! I decided to post my example of the Limited Supplies Challenge that I did over at Paper Wings.

This wasn't too hard - all you had to do was tie some knots! A little back ground on my idea: I can not tie a normal bow for anything! It never comes out right, unless I get extremely lucky! So, I usually just tie a knot and be done with it before I get too frustrated. So, the challenge was to use knots in your ribbon in a different way.

Mine ended up being photo corners and I also used knots on the tag. I just found out that the main stamped image I used on this is retiring! sniff, sniff! I love to used markers and huff on this stamp - its such a classy stamp set that can be used for so many things!

Well, I'm off on a road trip today! Hubby wants to go check out some camping and fishing spots for our up coming trip. It's suppose to be sunny and in the high 60's here, so we need to get out and enjoy it. I'm taking my camera, so hopefully I'll get some good shots to do some scrapbooking with!

Hope the rest of your weekend is fun and relaxing!

Supplies:

  • All stamps - The Angel Company
  • Paper - white card stock, pink card stock by Bazzill, pink designer paper - Genevieve by TAC
  • Pink gingham ribbon

  2. Another pretty one, Laurie! And I'm a knotter-by-nature, too :)

  3. I'm on your knots club! I don't tie good bows. Someone taught me and I've done some but I need too much ribbon for a small bow. No good!

    TFS!
