Hi everyone! I'm finally done with all my traveling for a while and got a chance to play around in the craft room today! Since it's world card making day, I thought I'd get into the thick of things starting with this card.
I started with the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches and paired it with the word of the week over at Just Us Girls.
I took a piece of Neenah solar white cardstock and added some distress inks - both direct to paper and sponging them on to create the green/yellow back ground. I did spritz it with water too.
I used the leaf back ground stamp (which I have no idea who makes it) with Spruce fresh ink from Impress Rubber Stamps and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
Used the largest fishtail banner die from My Favorite Things to cut it out and layered it in black.
Thanks is cut out three times and glued on - die is from Simon Says Stamps. Black scrappers floss used across the top to add a bit of interest.
Adding this into the Simon Says Stamp "anything goes" challenge too.
Thanks for stopping by!
