Repeat Impressions - Designers Choice Challenge

Hi everyone! We have a challenge going on over at Repeat Impressions, The House that Stamps Built called designer choice. Deonna has challenged us to use two or more stamps this week. Here is what I did with it.

I used Distress markers to color up the collage woods stamp and then lightly spritzed it with water. I got lucky on the first try and it came out pretty clear.

I used the wood embossing folder from Tim Holtz to emboss the kraft cardstock and the fishtail banners from My Favorite Things to highlight the main image and sentiment. The sentiment is 3109 on the RI site.

My DH saw this card and immediately said he wanted it because of how masculine outdoorsy it was. Go figure?

That's it for today. Don't forget to play in the challenge for a chance to win a gift certificate to Repeat Impressions.

And now it’s your turn!
We hope you will create a card that has a focus on the DCC theme, ‘Use 2 or more stamps', and enter it in our challenge at The House that Stamps Built!  Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them!

Check out the rest of the Rock Star's creations below.

  4. I agree with your husband that this is a fabulous card! I wonder what he would do with it if you gave it to him? : ) Anyway, love how you colored up the stamp; it makes it look like multiple stamps; and the embossed background is perfect!
