Hi everyone! It's one layer card time over at Less is More and they want us to use the theme of Beverages in our card. I have to admit, this one was a struggle for me!
I tried several different coffee mugs and what not, but my mojo was seriously lacking yesterday. As a matter of fact, I ended up inking up my right ta ta with a black ink pad after fumbling with it. Couldn't believe that I actually got the black ink to come off of the shirt! Dawn dish washing detergent is amazing!
OK - I digress. These cocktails are stamps from the no longer in business There She Goes. Colored them in fruity flavors using Copic's.
Stitched border is embossed using the largest die from Lil' Inkers.
Thanks for stopping by!
This is a gorgeous one layer card - love those drink colors! I had to laugh at your story (sorry!). For the first time in 12 years of stamping, I dropped a black inkpad on my jeans the other day. Luckily they were black jeans so there's only a slightly darker patch, but I couldn't believe I'd done that!
ReplyDeleteLOL so glad the ink came out!
ReplyDeleteSuper one layer creation Laurie

First of all love your tip about Dawn liquid - use it for a lot of things (especially when one of our dogs got sprayed with SKUNK), and second the card is totally CAS and I love it.
ReplyDeleteLove your fun post Laurie and what a fabulous card considering your mojo had gone AWOL.
ReplyDeleteGood to know the ink came out ok.
Thanks so much for sharing and taking part.

Less is More
Love your card and the sentiment!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got the ik removed but you could have just gone ahead and inked the rest of your shirt and create a new fashion! Love your card, cute images!
ReplyDeleteSome days creativity just does not flow well. I think you did an awesome job with your one layer design. They are often the most difficult for me. And yeah, for the Dawn dish soap! I get to spend a fair amount of time in the PNW. My baby lives in Seattle!
