Wherever you go

Hi everyone! What an exciting day yesterday! The talented and very sweet Darnell over at Djkardkreations CASED one of my past cards and posted a whole story about it on her blog. Thanks Darnell, and if you haven't seen her work/blog hop on over and take a look here. If you are a new  new subscriber and/or follower, thank you as well!

OK, on to my card for today. I was a little intrigued by this weeks CAS-ual Friday's challenge.
The challenge was to create a  farewell card that is long and NOT a traditional A2 card.

So this is what I came up with. This ended up measuring 4 x 8.5 and will fit into a legal sized envelope.  Vintage cream cardstock used as the card base and the main panel. Stamps are from Flourishes. I stamped them in Versafine and then clear heat embossed them so that I could color with Copic markers.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

  5. Ah, thank you for the shout out in turn, Laurie! That was sweet of you!

Your card today is yet another one I will be adding to my to-CASE-someday folder. I love doing the long cards sometimes, they fit in standard legal envelopes, and they are fun to receive. This is so pretty with the blossoms and the sediment is a favorite of mine!! Hugs, Darnell
