Remember how special you are

Hi everyone! I just got my shipment of the newest Ranger Distress dye's including the hot new color of picket fence! I was playing around with it and used it as a white wash for the card below.

The Ginkgo leaves are stamped onto kraft cardstock in two different colors of green and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I then applied the picket fence dye and wiped off the excess with a paper towel.

I did the same technique with the houndstooth stamp on the right. Sentiment is stamped in Archival jet black (this has become my go to black ink for even distribution) after cutting the ivory cardstock with the labels die. I took the die and traced around it onto Bazzill highland green smoothie cardstock and hand cut it out. Made a great layer! Green grosgrain ribbon used to cover the seam in the card panels.

So, what do you think of the new distress dye in picket fence? Doesn't it make a great white wash? Stamps and label die from Papertrey Ink.
