The flower is from PTI's year of flowers carnations and is colored with Copic's. I added a bit of sparkle using the stardust pen and smearing it around in the center with my finger. Cut out using circle nestabilities and then popped up using foam tape.
The left panels are done with the new edge dies. I love how they are the perfect size for an A2 card. Sentiment is also from PTI.
Satin ribbon bow is tied with the Bow Easy and attached with a glue dot. I did use some black scrappers floss to gather the ribbon together so that it "looks" like I tied the bow on it. Make sense? Self adhesive pearls from Kaisercraft finish it off.
Very pretty card!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! Great color combination!
ReplyDeleteLove the soft pink of your carnation - and I am going to have to remember your trick to "smear" the gel pen a bit - great effect.
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous Laurie, love the dark and light contrast. Very dramatic.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I always love pink, black and white!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous ... Love all of the shapes and layout!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card. Good tip about scrunching ribbon with floss. I'll give that a try.
ReplyDeleteStunning! Love the edge dies and how you colored that pretty flower.
